from what i know.. windows mobile allows handphone to surf without connecting to gprs, if the phone is already connected to a compatible computer with internet access... no configuration needed at all!
is this possible with symbian 60? i only know that we can use gprs to enable a computer go online and surf.. but the other way round?

QUOTE(gepochai @ May 31 2005, 08:41 AM) i think what u mean is WiFi, cause some pda phones comes equiped with WiFi means they can online in places where there is hotspot wirelessly. something like our wireless network la. symbian phone dun have wifi. nope, i dun mean WiFi... of course i know how wifi works! for example.. my gf 's o2 xphone II... which doesnt has a WiFi... whenever she connects( either by cable or bluetooth dongle) her phone to a computer (which has streamyx connection), she automatically can surf and logon to agile messenger without connecting to GPRS.. sort of like tumpang streamyx lar.. so, i am asking.. can this be possible on symbian os.. fyi o2 xphone II is running on Windows Mobile...
