yo gurus. need some help here. i have a 6670 phone. and in it already has the UltraMP3 player installed. i do not know as to whether it came with the phone itself or was it installed by the salesperson that sold the phone to me. the thing is, i'm having some hanging problems when i open ultramp3 at the background and switch between apps. i am now trying to install the latest version of UltraMP3 1.42 to see whether it would fix the above mentioned issue. but the thing is, i can't seem to find a way to remove the existing UltraMp3 installation. anybody care to point it out to me as to how can i uninstall the current UltraMp3 software from my phone? i also noticed some games also does not have an option to be removed/uninstalled. why is that so? thank in advance.

cheers

thanx for the suggestion allenultra. the paths are a lil different for 6230 and 6670. i tried installing the new ultramp3 on top of the existing one. well, it looks good, as in it reflects the latest version instead of the old one. pretty weird... after installing the new ultramp3, it is listed in the app manager- meaning i have the option to remove it. BUT..... when i ran the removal, it reverts back to the old ultramp3 version... vmad.gif really gone mad... hahahaha anyway thanks a lot guys.

the old ultramp3......
perhaps come with the phone itself, factory setting.

what I would advise u if u want to get rid of ultramp3, use seleq.

Browse to the system folder and delete the whole ultramp3 folder, the risk? I don't know....... sweat.gif
