For those who buy AP set from DirectD and wishes to upgrade to Kitkat, you must follow all steps mentioned above. Must flash CN Rom -> TWRP recovery -> KitKat. Mine original rom is VIBE, but i was unable to flash the kitkat if following just 13-22. Then i just flash to a CN rom, flash TWRP recovery and flash the kitkat rom. Btw there is a new rom for kitkat http://www.needrom.com/mobile/lenovo-s650-vibeui/ . and dont forget to backup your room using mtkdroid tools before begin flashing. |
