First and most important of all u will need a POP3 email account... Short for "Post Office Protocol", a protocol used to retrieve e-mail from a mail server. Most e-mail applications (including mobile phones) use the POP protocol, although some can use the newer IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).

POP3 email services give you mailbox space on a server, from where you can retrieve your email using an email client such as the one in your phone...

U can get it from Gmail... but only by invitation. Perhaps somebody here can give u the invitation...

You can use the following information to configure...

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL:
pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS:
smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587

Account Name: your Gmail username (including '@gmail.com')
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Password: your Gmail password

* Dont forget to click 'Save Changes' after enabling POP in Gmail. To ensure that Gmail can communicate with your mail client, be sure to click 'Save Changes' on the Gmail 'Mail Settings' page.

Firmware is your phone's built-in software. Occasionally Nokia releases firmware updates for certain phone models. If you are experiencing trouble with your phone that appears to be firmware related, contact your local Nokia service center to see if an update is available and if it is covered by warranty.

You can check your firmware revision by typing *#0000# on the phone's keypad.

You can take your phone to your local Nokia service center and they will update the firmware for you for free as long as the phone is still within its Nokia warranty period... or you'll be charged around RM30-RM50...

Be warned that a firmware update will caused the loss of all personalised information stored on the phone. I strongly advise that you make a copy of any important data from your phone before having it updated...
