Can Nokia 6670 use 1GB RSMMC?
*
It is not recomended to use such high capacity memory card because even NOKIA 6680/6681 only can support up to 512mb memory card only, so I don't think NOKIA 6670 can read/write suzh high capacity memory card flawlessly.

IINM i heard some sellers say 9500 is the most stable wen it comes to 1GB mmc..true or false?
*
Yes, this is because NOKIA 9500 originally already able to support up to 1GB memory card. biggrin.gif

i download few program for my 3230 (symbian) but scare they are virus, can windows antivirus@Norton2005 scan and detect them?
*
So far and till now, Symantec Anti-Virus product are quite outdated because it can't perform an accurate scan about mobile viruses or trojan, therefore my advise to you is, any file that downloaded from internet, IRC and unknown source net have very high risk to get infected by those viruses or trojans if you are about to install them into your phone.

By the way, if you are not very sure if it is a virus, you can sent your file samples to
Mobile.McAfee@gmail.com and there have virus analysts to analyze if it is a virus for you. biggrin.gif

is AAC better than mp3?

Yes, last time a magazine had reviewed several audio codec, and when Mp3 campare with AAC, AAC is far more better than mp3 because of its advance compression technology provided no quality is being deduced. In fact, we must admit that mp3 is the most wanted audio codec in the market currently. tongue.gif

got a prob here...
need some help..
Im using 6670 with firmware version 5.0509.0ch dated 01.03.05. FS Caller doesn't seem to work woth my phone. I've tried several versions from 3.0, 3.02 till 3.04. The problem I face is... sometimes, the full screen image will not appear at all as if the app weren't installed. Sometimes, when it appears...after I end my call, my phone restarts automatically. Any idea on what version I should be using or maybe any clashing of firmware with the app? Thanks
*
Most probably the firmware version affecting the third party application which causes the phone system crashing and thus auto-restart phenomenon occured. Try using other third party application which similar to FScaller. For an example, PhotoID. biggrin.gif

blink.gif  Huh?! S60 phone can use Chinese Star ar?
*
Yes, some of the Series 60 phone firmware doesn't come with Chinese language pack, to overcome this type of problem such as viewing and typing chinese font in SMS, games and etc, we can install Chinese Star or Chinese Input third party language supporting pack into the phone and thus we can write/view chinese fonts.

anyway, can 7610 stream video or not?
*
It is depnding sometimes. For example, the protocol for accessing DiGi video streaming service is just for EDGE user, thus the video streaming services only can be use on EDGE phone(NOKIA 3230/6230/6630/6680/6681) only.

If you are about accessing maxis video streaming service, selected GPRS phone may capable watching video streaming but may a bit laggy. biggrin.gif

Previously i always off and on back phone without any problem leh...now become like that. Firmware version 4.0437.4ch.
Anyway, last time i install one software that required me to enter date & time for my fon...i think that's the thing causing it..but forget wat was that software already.
*
Try to go to your clock application to turn on auto time update and see if your problem fixed? Else, uninstall the suspicious application, if problem still persists, try to hard format the phone, still the same thing? Sent them to NPC to have a check, most probably is the backup battery used up. biggrin.gif

May i noe any 3rd party software tat can install for 7610 for radio function tat dun ned use gprs wan???

And also IR Remote software can control everything?? or only wat?? can pls list out?? tyyy
*
Unfortunately, there is no solution for NOKIA 7610 to have radio function by installing third party application except the one that connected via GPRS. It should't be a problem for those who sign up unlimited 3G/EDGE/GPRS plan.

This appplication is only capable controlling VCR/DVD/VCD player and TV only, as I know, most of the time, people use to control television only. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ndragon @ Sep 12 2005, 04:51 PM)
1 small question here, symbian fon could support remote controlling tv via iR? how far is the distance limit?
*
Not all Symbian phone can support this application and thus installing IR Remote third party application may not working on those handsets which doesn't have IR hardware implemented, only older Symbian phone like NOKIA 3650/3660/7650etc have such function only. By the way, while last time I tested this application with my NOKIA 3660. The phone must pointed at about 10cm near the targeted device.

ahem ahem..... turbomsn don crash easily in the symbian phone....if crash, it has nothing to do with firmware and handset.....the problem is in the libs folder which is located in the system folder. If installed too many software which have many .dll files, then ur turbo will crash because it got mess up with other dll files.
Keropok, turbomsn runs well in N90 now....but if u install too many software...then it will crash eventually......
*
Oh? May I know where you get this information from? My NOKIA 6680 have 50+ application inside but my turbo MSN still can works fine as usual, nothing wrong with it. blink.gif
