Bl5J = 1250mAh vs 1800mAh; Bl-5C = 1150mAh Vs 1800mAh mad.gif mad.gif

when I contact the seller about this and sent the seller the picture, Seller told me:

1. Seller source this batteries from official Sun Global Distributor.

if what the seller said is true, I believe all the sun global battery in the market is also an overrated capacity Product.(I am not sure how true is this )

2. A joke from Sun Global claimed that this battery can stored up to 1800mAh.

from what I can see / think,

Bl5j manufacture to store 1250mah, but Sun Global claimed it can store "up to" 1800mah.
Bl5C manufacture to store 1150mah, but Sun Global claimed it can store "up to" 1800mah.

Obviously Sun Global trying to fake the capacity. Instead of writing the true Capacity, they write their assume / "up to" capacity on the battery.
and this(assume/ "up to " capacity) become one of the selling point of this battery.

3.Solution: Refund !
Well, after some talk ( me and seller) and (seller with Sun Global). Seller agree to refund me as per what I proposed.

The reason I open this thread is to share what I discovered on this product because I see quite a lot of seller and buyer in LYN.And I would like to know how many fake product is already in the market.
maybe some seller and buyer can peel off the Sun Global label and snap a photo to show us how the real sun Global looks like.

Hope all of you bought the ORIGINAL third party Sun Global battery.

Harsh, but is this the first time you're buying aftermarket batteries? Most if not all aftermarket batteries cannot exceed OEM (real original) battery capacities at the same physical size.

bought one few years ago for my galaxy ace, supposedly to be original sunglobal, claimed to be 1800mah but in real world usage its far worse than default oem 1400mah. that so-called rm75 powerful battery ended in trashbin after two month whistling.gif

Well, after google up on the some fake battery in the market, I found out that Xda forum also posted several topic on fake capacity third party battery but with different brand battery.

Assume that what mengsuan said is correct, then probably most of the Sun Global batteries out there are also fake or over rated product.

I thought this will only happen in China, but seem like in Malaysia is catching up on Fake product also.

I just bought sunglobal today direct from the manufacturer. From what I know, all of their original batteries come from china and not japan. They just use Japan Technology. So if your sunglobal has made in Japan, maybe it is a fake?

I have uploaded some pictures for your viewing.

From what I noticed, and I do not vouch for all the other models, the packaging was very delicate, it had the manufacture month and year behind the battery, and there were lots of "Original" stickers around. From the packaging till the interior of the battery there were a total of 3 "Original" labels.

I have yet to vouch for the capacity of the battery as I have read an equal amount of positive and negative reviews but have yet to try it out myself.

Hope this provides some info for everyone here..

Cheers.

figured might be fun to bring this up...

i've read about some "negative" news about this brand. i have one and since it's bloated up, decided to just peel off the SunGlobal "wrapper".

i had bought one for Note 2 and SunGlobal's label shows "capacity: 3650mAh".

after tearing the wrapper, i saw some serial number and printing (unfortunately, the mAh cannot be read, but i googled the serial/ batch number and it returned a result that says battery is only 3150mAh... hmm...

even the manufacturing date... it's almost one year before the date on SunGlobal label.

For this brand, I brought one for galaxy wonder.
from my experience even other cheaper and more recommended by seller work better than those Sun Global one.
Its totally dead after sometime you didn't use it. Unable to charge or detect.

Anyway they did well at Nokia 3310 generation.

I got 1 battery of this brand for Galaxy Note, last time wrongly bought and kept in my drawer all this time. I peeled the sticker but it didn't write the capacity, only these:
