Y50 only supports 1 hdd or 1 ssd... shucks

dont see these two model exits in Lenovo Malaysia 2014 roadmap plan. unsure if this legit

anybody send your laptop to service center for massive clean up?
At which lenovo service center?
I want to reapply the thermal paste for both CPU and GPU of my y400.
But i'm already swap my hdd with ssd & dvd with hdd.
Of course warranty sticker i'm not touch it during swapping process.
Let say if i want to send to SC, do i need to swap back to the condition when i'm 1st bought it?

you still can send it back. thermal paste reapply and clean up is different than warranty claiming.

Erazer Y50 and Y40 will be release in China on 15/5 with spec and attractive selling price as stated below, Y510p and Y410p EOL and replace by Y50 and Y40.

Wish local Lenovo can bring in attractive variants of Y50 and Y40 with i5/i7 at more affordable price.

Currently Lenovo y510p with dual gt 755m sli, 8gb ram and 1tb hdd (NOT SSHD) is selling for RM 3999 in Malaysia.

I'm pretty sure we can't get the Y50 model with above mentioned specs at RM 4000 in Malaysia.

That is why i'm thinking of getting y50 from US and have it shipped to Malaysia.

Anyone in the same boat?

For me, if you need to claim tax, example 20% better purchase local.
You save (3000x0.20=RM600) for the claim purpose

Do you mean the sales tax for US or the custom levies in malaysia?

I thought there's no levies on computer.
