I can confirm that my router is no problem because at the same distance , my mobile could connect to the wifi but my lappy cant . I have tried many ways like update the drivers and everything i can do but still failed . It only can connect the wifi in short range and SOMETIME it even cant scan the wifi too .Does anyone facing this problem before ???

i just noticed something to my y510, the Display Setting - Advance Setting doesnt related to Nvidia setting, but Intel HD4600, does it normal? the performance was way too poor compare my old y500 i used.
Need urgent advise...seems my y510 not running with Nvidia graphics , and i can't search a setting to change it... Help icon_question.gif

it's not expensive at all. USD1299 is already after USD200 rebate.

by compare the spec to the rival brands which has similar spec, the price is at just okay spot. I've been expected the price at this level and share the opinion to many of the forumer who asked y50 from us but non believed. whistling.gif

not so soon, expect 1 month or more later than US release. If u see any Y50 in MY market before lenovo, those are imported set. Not warranted by Lenovo MY.

I've current got an Asus G60j and it is now more than 4+ years old. Currently looking at the Y50 and if it does come out at a sub RM4000 price, it is a buy for me. However, does anyone know what the battery life is like? My Asus lasts 45 minutes on battery so I am hoping that something that is as thin and light as the Lenovo should last more than 5 hours.

Not sure if Notebookcheck has gotten their hands on review unit. Hopefully the maintainability is easily accessible. I'm waiting for Y40 though. sweat.gif

I hope so too, then again it does have a subwoofer, which I hope is better than the one on my Asus G60j which simply doesn't work sweat.gif .

Y430p i7 and GTX850M(GDDR5) will release on 15/5/14 in China together with Guild war 2. brows.gif
http://gw2.17173.com/content/2014-04-11/20...100446263.shtml

It seems that Lenovo will position their Y series in different market segment with Y430p/GTX850m, Y530p/GTX850m and Y50/GTX860m, Y40.
Y530p & Y430p look like the sucessor of Y510p & Y410p, the more portable series are Y50 & Y40.
Wish Lenovo will bring more affordable variants of Lenovo Y series to benefit the budget gamers. smile.gif
