Laptops with 965m gpu will suffice. Plus point also would be that most laptops with 965m (1024 cores)will be under thin and light category, and also affordable. And i heard 960m (640 cores, same as 860m) will also be coming out, and would be at same price range as laptops with 860m.

I can say 860m/960m is ur minimum range if u want games playable at medium-high 1080p settings. And maybe some AA on

MSI GE62/72 965m is already out, just havent reach Malaysia yet. Prices estimated about 4.5-4.7k depending on specs. 960m dunno yet. But it is spotted in the recent nvidia drivers already. IMO nvidia have the tendency to release drivers ahead of a gpu release.

IMO update your drivers if only the update helps you in optimizing the game(s) that you are playing. I.e, driver that you have are released before your new game. Normally its fine to update to the latest ones.

Check ur cooling pad is blocking your laptop air intake or not.
Also lower your setting to High first.. compare the temp w/ and w/o the cooling pad. If problem still persist, you need to send it to a service center to have a throughout check up

Should I get a cooling pad for my laptop cause my friend is getting one for his y410p reaching 90 during games so I could buy it together? I usually play games for a long time in a day under air-cond, I can feel it's hot at the keypad area but I use realtemp apps it says max around 80+. Heard that cool master notepal x3 is good. Any comments?

Using any cooling pad is recommended if u want to make your laptop cooler. It should help to reduce temps by 5-6 degrees...
