Hi guys, while washing my car today. I noticed this while filling my water for my wiper. I sometimes only drive around 140 km/h but I am not sure if this is a leakage ? is this serious ? my car is about to reach 11,000 km and going for my 3rd service with Proton. Please advise ASAP. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by asdzxc: Feb 16 2014, 07:17 PM

QUOTE(Mahihi @ Feb 16 2014, 07:42 PM) go complain with proton, the water leakage will destroy the ignition coil cable,if is serious, the water will leak into the piston thru the ignition coil cable, then ur conrod and piston will patah coz kena water, then it will shoot thru the block,to cause a massive damage to the block, where it will have the effect like the block kena punch by mohamad ali » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « p/s:actually,what is the concern there bro?? =.= is this reply even serious at all ? Well my concern is I thought normally engine area should be dry ... then suddenly this patch of what looks like water appeared. So please tell me if your explanation above is for "real" ?

QUOTE(Mahihi @ Feb 16 2014, 07:48 PM) not true la bro,nth special there, altho some water leakage may not reli normal there, but then no harm can be done leh, normally u wash car also they cover the piston area only, then just spray water like a boss with the gun,so i dun see any problem there leh.. =.= I didn't even water my engine area la, I was refilling my wiper's water the box and saw this patch .. Is this covered by warranty ? Probably when I go for my next service can ask them check and see ? This post has been edited by asdzxc: Feb 16 2014, 07:59 PM

How come proton service centre don't let me service my car every 7000 when I use semi synthetic when I know a semi synthetic oil can run 7000 km ?
They only allow semi synthetic 5000 and full synthetic 10000....
I was planning to save a rm100 instead of using full synthetic and run the semi synthetic for 7000 km .... haiz. .. am I getting conned by the sc?

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Mar 1 2014, 11:07 AM) Semi synthetic also 10000 KM. That is minimal to keep warranty. Change SC that allow 10000 KM interval as stated in manual But will it spoil the car engine if run semi synthetic for 10000 km ? That's like above 3000 km from its normal life spend
