Ya it seems that I found out cheap and affordable Fully Syn are usually Higher Grade Mineral oil. Such as Group 3 and below EO Fully Syn.
Group 5 are usually the real deal for fully syn. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 26 2014, 11:14 AM) it can't be group 3 and below la. group 3 below all cannot be labeled full synthetic already as it'll be a scam. Oops, sorry you are right, Grade 3 fully syn I mean. RM40 - RM50+/L I bought before. Chemlube ones. I would say is fantastic and smooth response. Love it but slightly costly lo.at most they can label group 3 hydrocracked petroleum base stocks, and that's what happening in our market while overseas, they can only label it semi or synthetic technology/Technosynthese (wtf motul?). and yes group 4/5 base stock full syn are minimum rm40-50++/liter. Heard Castrol Edge is good too. Just some said Magnatec is not so. Tesco sometimes promotion RM148 for Castrol Edge instead of RM230+ QUOTE(unknowngenius @ Feb 26 2014, 02:38 PM) Haven't buy yet. Planning to go for solid white first. Then if yellowish or fading, then repaint to black or titanium grey maybe? Or maybe inspira's maroon RM1500 is real cheap, just a basic paint. I heard Plastidip can last for 2-3 years. Worth it? Plastidip, a friend tried, to him, he said it just damaged his clear coat but won't be peeling off together with the paint. But then again, they said this will not happen if your paint is using a good quality clear coat. This only happens to car with cheaper clear coat. It depends on the quality of your clear coat. (My friend repainted his car with a friend price at RM800 whole car, so clear coat quality? U know la) So he suspected that it could be a low quality clear coat. Also, so far this is from him. Haven't heard any complaints from others yet. Aikka Plastidip is slightly more expensive than Performix. Since they need to apply a layer of Primer before spraying on the plastidip. Feedback on Aikka, very hard to peel off unlike Performix. But smoother than Performix. I like the smooth texture but easily scratched though. A good metalic paint, ya would cost around RM2K above, I got mine quoted for RM3K for either Crystal or Pearl effect paint. A friend in this business. FOC undercarriage anti rust services. Plastidip, no need to polish car, but once kena damaged, you have to touch up yourself or send to the shop. The only hassle is to touch on damage areas. You should look into dipyourcar video about plastidip and how to care them 1st before deciding whether to go fully on plastidip or paint. Also bear in mind, your car have to be smooth for plastidip full spraying. If not it won't turn out to be good and smooth. Best is you buy a few cans and try it out yourself. Before trying, best go to youtube and learn how to do it for a good result. Once you hands on, you will understand more on how plastidip works to clear your doubts. |

QUOTE(DonMe @ Feb 27 2014, 12:55 PM) Mine DIY sound proof, but current cbstone is very noisy at certain roads.. Hmmmm... Still thinking got what other tyres that is quiet... PS3 would do the trick Also considered to just continue use this CBstone, since outter is worn because of alignment hilang but center thread still pretty deep. Falken ZE912 I not sure, cuz the time I use was Traction AA, now is Traction A. Should be quiet since I didnt complain LOL! |
