Next month i will drive up to Genting.
Just want some advises on my clutch and brake condition.

Now my car adi clocked 112k, stock clutch and brake pad.

For brake pad, service 2 months ago i saw still left >50% of it. For clutch i have no idea how the condition.

Should i go to change the brake pad and check the clutch condition before i go up Genting?

brake pad should be ok, clutch wise not sure need to wait manual sifu to reply u... and better check ur radiator fan condition, as sum1 here go half way radiator fan suddenly not working cause overheat..

can anyone recommend me where to get Saga BLM Rear Wheel Bearing?

I went to Proton service center and they quoted me RM2xx for one side (left rear) which include drum + bearing.

The only worry is will it explode during highway drive. Look like I still have to stick back to cibaiston for the time being as budget constrain.

Anyone who where is the nearest place to get this tyre replaced? Cheras or klcc area.

Interesting experiments there. As I remember, apart from the CEL and 6 bars on temp gauge, and the idling fluctuating between 1.5-2k RPM, the car felt normal. In fact on the way to the SC (about 15 km) I think the temp gauge went down to three bars as normal. Not sure bout the idling but the CEL was still on.

Your theory sounds quite plausible. Obviously I did not tell the SC about removing the TB and it's still working fine up till today. Which makes me wonder, if a surge did really take out those sensors, would a good VS had prevented it?

Also I was wondering if the high idle was deliberately induced by the ECU, it thinks the engine is overheating so it injects more fuel to cool it down
