QUOTE(kimxmal @ Mar 9 2020, 05:16 PM) Yea i also keen to know. Because i had appointment today, next appointment will be 1st June and surgery will be on 9th June. So they approximate the cost will be around 5k since my nipples are big case. So now I know it will take quite a few months from first appointment to surgery. Now seems like the recovery also take a few months from your case. Keen to know your current condition. Thanks Which clinic u r doing in? |

Just sharing my story:
In short, went to PPUM last year but rejected last year. Tried my luck during this MCO in Penang Hospital since I am back there. Went on May to visit general clinic, doctor refer to surgeon, made appointment. Meet surgeon on further week, doctor requested for ultrasound scan before making decision, went to private hospital for scanning (RM150) to get result immediately and save time, back to see surgeon, requested blood test to check testosterone. Blood test result ready after a month, surgeon said my situation is everything fine, but asked me whether i'm very concern with my breast. I just tell him I'm very depressing because of my breast, immediately he decide to do the surgery for me. Operation is scheduled 2 weeks later, and I had to meet with aesthetic 3 days before surgery. I felt blessed that the surgeon is willing to help out. And hope everything goes fine before as well the operation. For guys who are from Penang, can try to visit Penang Hospital first instead of going to Adventist, as I was quoted 7K for the operation there. Goodluck. |

QUOTE(Dreamcast83 @ Aug 18 2020, 01:50 AM) Thank you bro, I regret not doing this sooner. Post surgery I went one time for stitch removal after about 2 weeks the second time after 2 months for general checkup and agin after 3 months for the remaining swelling. The checkups are free and the doctor will even provide you with free ointment for your wounds but I did pay for the steroid injection but he only charged me for the cost of the steroid itself and I only paid about 70 Ringgit I think. But you most probably won't need that I was just unlucky to develop scar tissue 😅. is normal to have scar , although is still in healing process , i think some less visible scar will still occurs , but im applying silicone gel hoping the scar will be least visible |

QUOTE(Dreamcast83 @ Aug 18 2020, 10:12 AM) I think the scar you are referring to is from the incision under the nipple, I had no problems with that after 2 months it was almost gone Dr cheong has a very good incision and stitching technique . The scar tissue I had was like a hard lump inside and it created some swelling. i see, i still have some swelling now, is it normal ? |

QUOTE(traderfox @ Aug 18 2020, 11:08 AM) for those whom had done the surgery, just wondering how long is safe before you can continue normal daily activities i.e; swimming or heavy lifting after? 1.u should be pain for at least a month for minor stretching / pressure on chest. heavy lifting after 3 months and above.did it affect your movement (lifting hands, moving around, intimate relationship etc) while recovering 2. did it affect your movement (lifting hands, moving around, intimate relationship etc) while recovering ? Yes , definitely. |
