QUOTE(mrgoodgood @ Mar 25 2014, 10:38 AM) Yes, I'm going for door-less design. I am planning to enclose the entire walk-in wardrobe area with aluminium/glass partition similar to the picture below. However, this plan may be delayed, depending on the remaining budget on hand . Hi mrgoodgood, really love your sense of artistry. Do you have the contractor that does the glass/aluminium partition?Alternatively I supposed I can go for curtains (much cheaper), but it won't look and function that well. Also, does your chalkboard magnetic wall working? I read that the magnet's not that strong, that you can't really use a magnet to stick a paper on it. Btw, the magnetic wall is also done by your contractor? This post has been edited by hysteresis: Aug 7 2014, 10:52 AM |

QUOTE(mrgoodgood @ May 29 2014, 09:00 AM) Ahahah... I have all but abandoned this thread... lazy me... Love the lights above your table top! Can I know where you purchased it?Anyway I think my previous photo (in the kitchen thread) is a bit misleading... The lighting and effect somehow made my kitchen looks too 'magical'. Here's the photo I've posted: I think the evening sun and the Labware lights contributed to the surreal look . Here's a few photos I've snapped this morning without much post-processing: Kitchen from another angle. As you can see, I have a full chalkboard magnetic wall on the other side of the kitchen. This will be my canvas to express my (limited) creativity . Haven't thought of what to draw through. Any suggestions? The higher 13A socket is for a wall fan (as Malaysian weather is too harsh). Sadly, I have yet to find a good matching wall fan. Again, suggestions are welcome. I don't have space for a dedicated pantry, so this is the closest alternative. Cooking area. The dish drainer is a bad purchase from Taobao. Initially, Verra Kitchen included one in the quotation, but I took it out last minute, because I found out it is not 304 stainless steel. Unfortunately the purchase from Taobao came badly dented. Ah well, still can be used... I like the looks of the Rinnai inner flame hob very much. I think the stainless steel hob actually matches my kitchen better than glass hobs... what do you think? Drawers. I think I have too much cutlery space. Sink area. The dish drainer came along with the sink. The quality is not that great though. The pictures are really grainy. I should really take some better photos when the renovation is completed... |
