I bought ORI set, dun wan to pening about AP set anymore... I paid RM1190 for my W710i but I traded in my K610i (AP set), so I saved a bit of money.

Thanks, mate! The stock FW for my phone starts with R1A****, the official FW from SEUS should be the one I mentioned.

Well, it's only RM40 difference compared to ur purchase price, no big deal la. As long as the phone is working properly, I'm alright with paying just a little bit more.

Yeah, the clamshell phone designs are nice but I think it's a little too Samsung/LG-ish...

Personally, I like the W42S, what a hip-looking phone...

The W710i I bought got the Robbie Williams package, with Robbie theme, songs, videos and contest form. Is the Robbie Williams package quite old oredi?

I kinda hope there will be a Transformers movie package...

I just updated to R1JC002 firmware thru SEUS.

Guys, I'm not sure about what other changes there are on the new firmware, but I can tell you this... Previously, my W710i is a bit lagging when going thru the GUI, and I kena twice that the phone hanged for about 5 seconds when going thru the Phonebook.

Seems like the new firmware had fixed the problems above. GUI smoother now and so far no "hang" problem.

Oh, another small thing I discover is that Keylock slider button. Originally, when push the Keylock slider to KeyLock On Mode, the ext screen will show a message ("Use Slider on Right Side of Phone to Unlock"), right? In this new firmware, when u do the same thing, the message will no longer display. That message will only be shown (in Keylock On Mode) when you press any of the 4 Walkman control buttons beside the ext screen.

I'm looking for screen protectors for the main screen and external screen... Anyone got any recommendations?

Crystal casing got sell oredi meh? Where did u get urs? Pls share...

I think you're doing it right but make sure you keep the "C" pressed and hold until the SEUS screen asks you to release the "C" button.

BTW, is urs AP unit or ORI unit?

The USB driver for the HP comes with the PC Suite software. Just download the latest one from SE Website and install and you'll have the driver automatically installed...

Click on Continue Anyway, the stupid Windows XP kepoh only...

Put your game files in Application folder...

The Windows XP always like that wan, dun worry, just continue to install...

Yesterday night, I went to ABC handphone shop (yes, it's REALLY called ABC) in Sec 17, PJ to buy screen protector. The shop owner, Chong recommended me a no-name brand (just named "Genuine") and it's only RM7. The quality is not bad, after attaching the protectors, the screens still looks very clear. Chong told me he himself is also using this "Genuine" brand on his Nokia N73 for 1 1/2 years and it's still looks very clear.

He told me there's too many fake Martin Fields in the market right now, so sometimes kena con also dunno... He said there's no need to spend so much on just a screen protector.

Wah, better be careful with those crystal casings... Next time if really wanna buy, go and see for yourself and test the casing first before buying...

Last time I also kena before from Lowyat, the bloody seller (at 1st floor one) sell to me the SP for RM35 leh! But lucky the SP is good quality la...

I just bought a crystal casing for my W710i, below are the pics... this casing is also meant for the Z710i and it looks a bit cacat la, but anyhow, just bought it to protect my phone... What do you guys think?
