Well I just bought this phone. Feel free to ask any questions. About the fitness feature. Im using it. Its quite interesting. I dont know what motion sensing technology they use. It doens't responce to anything shaking but rather when you are walking. Very accurate. You put it in your pocket and it calculates how many step you take. So if you don't even remember that you are using it, It will prompt you every week about your progress.

Hehe thank you all. Let me try to give my first phone review. Tell me if I missed anything.

I bought my set at One utama. They were having a promotion. I bought it for RM1099 (Original set with two years warrantty). One from the manufacturer and one more from the shop. Add extra RM100 to change to 512mb M2 card. Got a free adidas bag

Well first the the design.

The clamshell design is quite good. The external screen is monochrome. It basically shows the display of you music, radio, steps you taken, messaging, clock and phone numbers. Its optional to be switch on or off (I usually switch it off, save battery life anyway)

The outside feel is rubber with plastic in the middle. On the sides we can choose to play music (play, foward, backward.)

Inside the keypad is like the Z series of the phone. Responsive and good for sms users.
(I'll try to post some pictures when I finshed playing with it)

The features

Menu: The standard 3 x 4 SE menu. With a walkman icon in it to play your music. Another new feature is the fitness (we'll get back to that)
Games: 3 preset games. (A side scroll shooter, tennis (as usual), a jumping game)
Phonebook: Can store up to 1000 names and 2500 numbers.
Fitness: This is the intersting part of the phone (In my opnion)
We can set our age, high and weight and the it will calculate how many calories we have.
They got to functions: Running and waking. Walking is a very cool motion sensor that moves when we walk (can be calibrated). Running:.. err havent had time yet

Walkman and radio fuction

I never had a walkman phone before but I can tell you the sound is excellent. The best part is is got MEGA BASS. Something you find is most of the standard walkman. Plug in you headphones (which are a bit tricky to put on since they fit behind your ear) and you can hear the bass thumpung. The headphone also serves as an attenna so you can hear the radio on speaker mode.

Video

Quite good. Very crisp and clear. I havent tested it yet.

Camera. 2.0 megapixel without flash. Nice pictures. Got a photo editor.

1 x headphone with extension (serve as a handsfree)
1 x belt strap ( what this do you can hook the handphone and put it on your belt)
1 x mesh strap ( this you can hook the belt strap and put it on your wrist for running)

@cyclonekid hmm.. they didnt include 256mb memory card for u..? yes they also got promotion by adidas, when u buy this phone they give u a free messenger bag..

Nope sadly. They did give me a 64mb card. Yeah they gave me like a messenger bag. Hope there more people besides me buying this phone

hmm spending entire afternoon + nite .. watching WHU vs ASNL now ...

ok phone is good but have 2 things that I don't like

1. speaker phone too soft ... compare to my old 1110 ...
2. I can't work on my contact through PC software but will have to do it using the phone keypard ... for example I want to assign ringtone and put image .. both have to do it though phone

other then that .... is sound good to me .

I installed the software from the CD and it does not work with my computer XP SP2 but once I download the latest softwar from SE side is working now

i went there the first day and they were selling at 1199 and the m2 is 64mb then ask them how much to top up to change from 64 to 512 they said 150..now diff case pulak..if they giv me the offer u had then alredi bought lo..
