no 'remote' in the peer list means your connection is blocked or something. make sure that your port is open. and disabling the firewall in your modem doesnt mean your port is open. ;-)

totally agree on that. i dont believe that newer/certain version is faster, unless the developer change the way the client download from other peers in that particular ver to make it dl faster. but i havent see any changes on bitcomet in the recent ver that can 'improve' speed.

i suspect that that you have bad router. try disabling dht and reduce the number connection per torrent. this might help.
