Download Bittorent content nowadays seems to be very slow at my place.. Just imagine it tooks about 1 day just to download 50MB of file. I've tried many method to tweak my Bitcomet but no change at all.
*
i think it is becoz your torrent is not fresh anymore
thats why your download is slow

0.66 is mod leecher, use it also very unstable. Really crazy, shoot up very fast download MAX with "minimum" download. But overtime, it will crash. Tried minimize whatever setting, still no use, it will crash later. Consume quite large memory & CPU overtime. Better spec system will only crash a bit later only.

Anyway, this already bypass the tmnut throttle & shaping software liow and good if you want grab quick 1~2 torrent file MAX download very quick. Do not dl so many at once!

Another method, if you want multiple dl and avoid crash is write some script to terminate & restart it periodically interval. You time and know the interval. Hey, at least it won't crash overtime while you're sleeping. It's very fast startup download into MAX in few minutes only gurantee continous dl.

I think somehow, unlimited grabbing/leech from whatever peers it contact adding with contribute to the massive speed of download and this also cos it crash?
*
hmm... so this v0.66 is mod is super leecher and easily crash??
will it upload?? or will it give false upload info??

about bypass the throttle... how you know it really can bypass throttle??
you try it with some torrent that have only a few peer and no Malaysian peer??
i dun think it can bypass the throttle... unsure.gif

about the script for auto-restart... good idea!! smile.gif
who can do it?? tongue.gif

utottent need port fortward?or automatic ?
*
what do you mean by "automatic"??
if you use routing mode to connect to internet, for sure you must portforward
else, if you use bridging mode, then no need

if the "automatic" you mean is UPnP port mapping
i can tell you that both BitComet and µTorrent also have UPnP port mapping function
and if you use routing mode, watever bt client you use, you also need to port forward

If I did the portforward manually inside the modem, do I need to check the "enable NAT/Firewall Configuration in ICS/ICF" ?

anyone can help me?

and also, what's the recommended value for max. concurrent half open connections?
*
how come there is no other people answer your question... sweat.gif

2nd post, better set as default (default is 10)

try this:
1. open that torrent again
2. when ask you the save location, put in same location, and choose to download LATER
3. hash check
4. the percentage will come back, enjoy!! smile.gif

speed slow??
why blame on the BT client??
you should blame the ISP or the torrent peer at Broadband User-2-user subforum

btw, my speed is same with super macgyver
can constantly get 39kBps (at least, also 512k user)

guys. i port forward my lan ip for portforward is it correct?
i miss which ip i should port forward for bitcomet

i felt close up the dht the connection make me slow .
*
not very understand what you said... sweat.gif

juz refer to the http://www.portforward.com/ website guide to portforward
usually will be like this
1. make static ip
2. login to the router/modem page, and go to NAT option
3. create a NAT rules for the static ip and the port
4. finish, enjoy download... biggrin.gif

like my static ip is 10.0.0.11 <-- i set this and port forward
49152  65534  TCP
49152  65534  UDP
this range is that ok OR ?
*
you should set your computer static ip to around 192.168.1.x
with x is any no. from 2-255 (if 1 is your modem page)

about the port range, better juz focus on 1 value
like if your BitComet port is 49152
then you the range is 49152 to 49152
the protocol, better choose "All" (TCP and UCP)

hiii.. icon_question.gif

currently i'm using AZTECH WL830RT4 as main router. The problem is when i running P2P sharing/torrent (bitcomet), the program unable to use selected port as listening port.

So, to make it short, how can i set the router so that listening port will be available.
Screenie:

like the post #2062 said
juz create a static ip, then go to your router configuration page
and then find NAT option (or some will be "Forwarding" ), then create the NAT rules

dun forget to save the settings

you mean for the static ip or the default gateway??
if static ip, 192.168.1.x is fit
but if you say router page (or default gateway), then agree with your point nod.gif

TMNut's throttle. Try Xunlei.. Can get avg 160KB/s (1MB package) if with good seeds..

Example: Naruto from dattebayo.
*
that is popular torrent
i think whatever bt client also can get high speed from that torrent

asking noob question...
Xunlei also use bt to download??

No joke, the P2SP and ED plugin are very awesome.
This time of Bitcomet is similar to Tuotu.

Currently download from P2SP, 100kB/s

Can find the ED plugin here http://download.bitcomet.com/achive/BitComet_0.91_plugin.exe
*
the ED plugin will boost the speed of torrent??

if yes, i will download immediately... drool.gif
