happen to me also last time when install & uninstall the reinstall & repeat few times.

Try uninstall, then close pc. Then, open pc & remove anything related to bitcomet...the directory in progam files, shorcuts. then close & restart pc. after that install the last working bitcomet version. that what i did. and restart back. only then open bitcomet.

I got unfinished download at 99.9%. I am using bitcomet 0.86 and rapidshare premium account. Any idea what went wrong?

maybe can try this solution???

btw, i also increase my maximum disk cache in BitComet setting (Preferences-Advanced-Disk Cache-Maximum Disk Cache Size) to 100MB and set my max half open connections (Preferences-Advanced-Connection-Max simultaneous half-open connections) according my windows Max simultaneous half-open connections number...

so it's good or same perfomance by full version??

hey, anyone facing the problem where the files actually 100% downloaded but then while keep seeding back the file, the percentage drops back to 97% downloaded.. why is that?

my bitcomet 0.85 download speed is very unstable
sometimes can reach up to 40kb/s
sometimes drop to 0
i think i should change to 0.86

now its getting worse, dropped to 84% downloaded!
Why is that??

-hdd bad sector?
-maybe is fake torrent ? or seeder file corrupt ?

hdd bad sector? impossible as I just got this new hdd few months back. fake torrent? also impossible as Ive already 100% downloaded the files. Just that when I being a seeder of that file, the percentage dropped to 84% downloaded! Its like they (leechers) are taking away my files? this is so weird.. first time facing this kind of problem..

thankfully, the download finally finished for the 2nd time.. and now, stop seeding. LOL Dont want to seed nemoar..

guys...using BC 0.86 here

everytime i limit or change the download rate for a certain torrent throught the torrent (Advance Option) itself,the tracker will reconnect itself (eventhough i'm connected to the tracker already)

anyone facing this kind of problem ?

i still remember last times got a version that can make a file become incomplete after complete download...

NVidia Network Access Manager cause problem?

Similar error with that fella but unfortunately no its not Nvidia Network Access Manager,I search at the add/remove programs none.


edit: fixed the problem already,something to do with one part of my hard disk( chkdsk thingy),so far no crash since this afternoon.

just wanna ask, Version0.86 , have u guys select the 'Server Mode' under Connection tab?

I'm very new to torrents and just installed BitComet 0.86 , but how come my download speed is damn slowwwwww......I have 1mbps connection but my download speed is only around 10kbps !!!!!!!

Am I doing something wrong here ????

But with Ares and LimeWire, I can get around 120-150kbps........
