Im using version 0.66. At first the download went fine at 50kbps ,
after sometime the DL become 0 and I cannot surf the net at all, I have to restart the both the modem and my computer to recover my conncection

Can anyone teach me how to solve this problem?

I just need to restart my computer then I can surf Internet.

It seems that my pc get choked when i use 0.6x version.
is it a kind of bug?

Hi guys, need a little help.

I'm currently using BC at 0.70. When i try to upgrade to 0.96, it never finishes installing it, and then when i check my BC, it ends up still in 0.70 and never really made any improvements. Infact, why whole task list was empty.

anyone experience "out of memory" when using BitComet and multi-tasking??

I experience it last times when scanning PC with AV software with BitComet opened
now, video conversion + BitComet also will make same thing happen...

after "out of memory", the PC will lag, cannot see any word, cannot online
when shut down or restart, it will take very long time (or maybe cannot shut down/restart probably)

after reboot, the task list will gone...

You use auto dialing to Streamyx or manual dialing?
I have the same yellow icon as you because I am using auto dialing, last time when I was using manual dialing I got green colour icon.
However, my downloads still run despite the yellow icon.
Recently, my BitComet is running superb slow. I've just changed my Streamyx package to 512kbp/s because nobody is using it at home when I am away for my studies in other state. I have never expected such big difference compared to 1Mbp/s. I am using BitComet 0.97 version by the way.

I seriously don't know what is happening to my BitComet or my line really has problem. No matter which version of BitComet I am using, I just can't get good download speed. It is always stuck at below 50kB and I am using an 512kB line, I shouldn't expect such bad download speed right?

Can anyone kind enough and tell me what did you do with the connection settings of BitComet? Please enlighten me.

I did try the Turbo BitComet which was introduced in another thread, it worked but it really hogged up a lot of my bandwidth that I hardly can surf to any website.

Yes the modded BC 0.66. It still hogs up my bandwidth, still slow for me to surf the Internet despite I am using Opera now.

Xunlei is quite okay, can reach max dl speed of 160+ kbps. But have a small problem lately, the apps keep shut down automatically on and off.

I've not used Bitcomet for a couple of yrs since the throttling thing started. So isit stil throttled with the new bitcomet version besides the turbo version?
