If anyone is willing to step forward and volunteer to organize the merchandise (planning, design, manufacturing, logistics, payment).. I'm sure the moderating board will give its full support

Well, my family is doing apparel manufacturing and souvenir supply in Johor. Of course we can offer best quote, but then we need design and quantity on before hand.

Please hold that idea until we actually get approval from the administration team.

I would suggest let us discuss the design first, then let others tender for the bulk.

well, besides t-shirts, anyone interested in smaller merchandise & souvenirs like pens and stuff? i know someone from ideahousedotcomdotmy who may be able to help.

we've had issues in the past when it came to merchandising as we allowed 3rd parties to be in charge of the entire thing. The result was sub-quality merchandise that we were not too happy with.

We will consider doing merchandise again, but at the moment we do not have much time to scout around for proper companies that would be able to do the work - and do it properly.

If you know of anybody who will be able to do the t-shirts at a fairly reasonable price, then do PM me with the details and we will work from there.

If we can find a printer who offers a reasonable price for quantity and is known to provide quality products, we will then open a competition to design the t-shirt or something similar as there are a whole lot of aspiring designers in the forum.

it would be more fair if open a design competition and compare all the possible lowest prices for the BULK T-shirt...

We don't only want cheapest la. If want cheapest no use what.. normally cheap dont have a good quality.. Normally....

Interesting plans we have here. Perhaps if we turned the designing and best priced bulk arrangements into a more competition-based activity, the results would be even better?

Applying the card as discounts would require a lot of proven revenue for the participating outlets, as LYN is not associated to Lowyat Plaza itself. With or without discounts, since we hang out here practically for most of our day, it seems like a good idea to me Might catch us wearing it at LYP

if want quality printing Miri here got 1 shop using laser printer to print sumthing high quality on shirt and anything printable.. i got 1 shirt made by them until now still like new... but price kinda expensive for the ink and quality lor.. if do bulk i not sure how much is the price, depends on design lo..

Laser Ink - RM5-10 per column(not sure how big is 1 column)
Normal Ink(will come off pretty soon after washing)- RM 3-5 per column..

I heard 1 column is quite small and to imagine sending it over from Miri would double the cost?

some of our sch t-shirts printed in high quality ink(as in long lasting, wont peel off after washing) is only rm 25 per shirt.. if theres more than 50 people la.. i sometimes make designs for my sch t-shirts and clubs and the price wont be expensive if theres a big bulk orders..

Not my point. My point is, you order and make it in Miri while most of the buyers will be from West Malaysia? Not the right idea I think?
