my programming skill very very weak. whether C, C++ microprocessor etc.

the software enginner job is do what 1?
write program only or...?

Depends on the company, but mostly it will revolve around programming work, for some company it's purely programming, for some company it's programming + testing + a bit of project management,

but programming will definitely be there.

does any job description comes with the job title?

sitting infront of computer everyday and think of the logic you need to put into your desinged codes

Just like programmer ... just the name is fancier.

Same goes to Software Developer.

I'm currently working as a software engineer here in London. While my job does involve coding, I'm more involved in the design stage of the system.

I don't know if this job title is abused in M'sia (much like business procurement consultant), but if you're a SE, you should be involved in the entire SDLC, not just the development stage.

A systematic software development should employ steps in SDLC.
