QUOTE(noobandroid @ Feb 16 2014, 10:47 PM)
build wise, ducky and quickfire

ducky is specialized in manufacturing mech keyboards, while quickfire did a decent job on their mech keyboards, roccat depends how many features you need to use on that board that is not replacable, blackwidow can go suck my big D
*
so which one of these would you choose for your keyboard? cuz im surveying to buy a new mech keyboards
and what's wrong with blackwidow? any bad experience with it?

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Feb 16 2014, 10:50 PM)
i think he talking in general brand, raazer vs cm vs ducky vs roccat
*
thanks for explaining it to him
and by ducky i only focus on 'shine'
and yes BWU

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Feb 16 2014, 10:54 PM)
multiple users have furiously reported the keyboard failing out of a random timing, key not responding etc, basically their quality control is pathetic, though Tan Min Liang himself is a great community person
*
so if you were in my place which mech keyboard would you go for? for gaming and performance

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Feb 16 2014, 10:55 PM)
Choose either Ducky or CM Storm, if you targeting mechanical keyboard instead of gaming keyboard.
Because both Ducky, CM Storm are worth the money in term of typing experience, build quality, and have LED as well.

Edit: Razer mouse is fine. Keyboard please don't.
*
what if im more to gaming ? *Dota 2 to be exact* which brand would you suggest for me to buy?

for mouse im using SS sensei, so far no problem for me and it works perfectly fine

tekokk ducky, switches ur choice. Me also d2 kaki, and I don't need those micro keys, and I will surely customize my keyboard with keycaps next time, so yeah, standard layout ducky board.
YJS ur words sound offensive weh hmm.gif
*
so you're using ducky shine too? MX brown or red?

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Feb 16 2014, 11:12 PM)
I would recommend Ducky Shine 3 MX Brown or MX Red. MX Red is best for gaming, MX Brown is combination of typing and gaming use.
But for the MX switches, better if you try it out and choose which you like.
*
got difference ah between these switches? i thought they all can tap the same way as it is
btw thanks for suggesting me this
I'd probably buy ducky shine 3 *maybe*

btw how the hell you use sensei For MMORPG/RTS games ... don't you feel wasted or weird?

I mean Sensei has so less macros and it is made for FPS games.
*
i also play csgo competitive so i had no problem playing d2 and csgo plus i can set 4 macros inlcluded on the mouse

QUOTE(Y.J.S @ Feb 16 2014, 11:25 PM)
K90 has like 18 macro buttons (not sure if I'm right)
and a big wrist rest (smaller than steelseries 7G).

and also it has backlits which I personally favour a lot, and I think it is a must for every high priced keyboards biggrin.gif
*
i see

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Feb 16 2014, 11:26 PM)
Yup, all the switches are different. You may refer to the first page of this thread.
There are red, black, brown, blue, clear, green and etc.. Each MX switch serve different purposes.
That's why mechanical keyboard is so wonderful. Everyone has their preferable switches.

For me, I use MX Brown and MX Blue.
Brown is tactile, Blue is tactile + clicky. biggrin.gif
*
for ducky shine 3 do they have MX blue switches?
