QUOTE(eddydo @ Feb 6 2014, 10:12 PM) Eh, jangan marah la. Haha. Rm18 keyboard doesn't have standard layout and stuck with fugly stock keycaps. Buy brobot and replace your esc key. Get some interesting led combination and get those fancy keycaps. No more rm18 like. Can paint the casing too. |

QUOTE(antonio @ Feb 7 2014, 12:04 AM) Now just wait enuff moolah to get alu/stainless steel case and do LED mod....after that my poker can retired edi from use... Keep that poker and let filco pink retired. Pm me best price for filco pink. First impression on the "Itik Bersinar 2 Merah Jambu Edisi Terhad" Keycaps feels like coated same like FILCO except; the clear part where the legend let the LED shine thru, feels a bit kasar...and doesn't feels like coated...and the brown switch also feels a bit tighter as compared to my FILCO brown....or maybe the Filco already worn nicely after usage all these years... |

QUOTE(dadudeneverabides @ Feb 7 2014, 01:43 PM) I'm more of a one button one function guy. I can get used to living without my numpad, but I will never press more than one button to get to F2 (edit cell in Excel). I guess I don't type as much as I should. Tak kan satu position saja. Tak try position lain? |

QUOTE(hooh888 @ Feb 7 2014, 02:20 PM) Then it won't make much difference if I get that or a Ducky Shine 3, though I would still change after market keycaps on the DS3, only it won't be as soon as I get the keyboard. It's still different. Two different brand and two different class. Remember that you can customize LED with F104, and they're cheaper come along with free set keycaps. You can sell both and get something better like imsto cherry replica. And, for stock keycaps vs stock keycaps, F104 are definitely better than Ducky quality, except the legend design. For cheap path, get F104. For expensive path, Ducky Shine 3.This post has been edited by diaBoliQu3: Feb 7 2014, 04:16 PM |

Ducky Shine 3.- RM 460 - Shipping RM 20 - Cheapest Taobao PBT keycaps 180 F104. - RM 250-270 - Shipping RM 30-40 - Sell keycaps RM 120 per set - Cheapest Taobao PBT keycaps 180 - LED RM 50 Taobao. 016 offer custom color, custom design, but cost a bit more. Just by looking at the number, F104 cheaper, doesn't tied to contract, and less guilt for modding. Haha... Edit: Wait, with F104 coming soon depending on agent and China PH. Ducky Shine 3 coming soon, my friend tired of waiting. This post has been edited by diaBoliQu3: Feb 7 2014, 04:18 PM |

QUOTE(hooh888 @ Feb 7 2014, 04:37 PM) Don't understand this part lol. Also, the LED RM50 from Taobao includes the installation right? (Not sure if this is a stupid question) Ducky Shine 3 out of stock for a long time a go in Bettlehem. Few of my friend waited but re-stocking took so long time. Unless you manage to get Ducky Shine 3 now, just grab it. Not just Ducky Shine 3. RK 9000 seems like nowhere. Some of them gets Poker, F104 and other keyboard. I think RM 50 including soldering but the LED quality not sure. 016 provide a good one. |

QUOTE(dadudeneverabides @ Feb 7 2014, 04:42 PM) Like 016 said, it's more ergonomic for fingers to press only one button for a commonly used function (like F2, cuz 99% of my excel godliness comes from spotting idiot errors and changing formula). Since I use excel a lot, I also need my numbers. Typing in functions more than actual numbers is the reason why I can live without the numpad (I have I'm just kidding mate. No hard feeling... I work excel spreadshit once a week and it's trouble some too. But I'm more like a guy with lowered car, except it's not GTR. Haha...Compression of the 6-key cluster above the arrows (Del-Home-End-PgUp-PgDn) are used a lot for quick navigation between worksheets. Example; Ctrl+PgUp to change tabs, and then Ctrl+Home to got to cell A1 in a pinch. Or even F2 then Ctrl+Home to get to first character in formula. That only explains a minute part of how I work. Not to bash on anyone's keyboard preference, but the smallest I would go is 75% because I need my function keys separate (actually, come to think of it I only use F2 and F4 mostly) but most important of all is the Ins-PgDn cluster for navigation. |
