Can someone help me?

There's something weird happening with my Virtua Tennis. The controller Vibration setting is always resets itself to "off" when I stop playing the game. I have to go to the game options, and set it to "on" manually every time I boot the game.

Does this happens to you too? unsure.gif

I still cant unlock Duke or King, they're so fake...

I just unlocked King. rclxm9.gif I noticed that there's a pattern you can use to defeat King.

Here's how I defeated King:

1. Serve using the slice (X) button, use as little power as possible.
2. If you're serving from the right side of the court, King will return the ball to the left side, so be prepared and go to the left side as fast as you can. (If you serve from left side, then be prepared to go to the right side.)
3. Once he returned the ball, hit a ground stroke as hard as you can using the "A" button. If you do it correctly, he will lose his balance while returning the ball to you and fall.
4. Use a volley shot to smash the ball and he wouldn't be able to catch it.

IINM its a default setting. Nothin u can do abt it  wink.gif

I guess this is because Xbox 360 is the only platform they developed on that has a controller with vibration function. doh.gif

Just unlocked Duke too. tongue.gif

I used King to defeat Duke. Here's how I defeated Duke:

1. Serve using the slice (X) button, use as little power as possible.
2. He will randomly return the ball to either right or left side of the court. If he's returning the ball to the same side that you currently are, you're in luck. Corner smash the ball as hard as you can and he won't be able to catch it. icon_idea.gif

For those who have finished World Tour Mode, will the game end when you have played for certain number of seasons (years) in the game?

IINM, Top Spin 2 will end once you finished Season 5, bad thing if you want to max out your custom character. sad.gif

20 years..Already stated in the manual..

I missed that part. doh.gif

the manual stated if after 20 yrs & u stil havent achieve the 1st rank, it will be stop permanently.......

so...i assume if we already achieve it, we can still continue to rank up our custom player..........i think...

Good news for me then, I'm at the 5th Year, and currently rank at number 60 something. Want to buff up my character first before ranking up my character further.

One thing I like about this game is you won't go down in rank when you skip or did not participate in tournaments. In Top Spin 2, you will go down in rank if you skip tournaments to train and buff up your character. doh.gif

so playing mini games buffing up characters really do help alot ah?

I think so. I have trouble winning the tournaments for those who are at rank 100 and above. After I buffed up my character's stroke & footwork level, it becomes a whole lot easier. icon_idea.gif

I kinda hate the footwork training..Getting tougher and tougher..

I think Avalanche level 6 depends on your luck; you need to collect 7500 points, it's easy if you can get lots of pineapple (1000 points each).

The problem is, sometimes some of the fruits will get stuck on the ramp and won't roll down. doh.gif
