Actually, some dev. trying very hard to get us, the genuine buyer away from their product and in the way encouraging the pirate themselve.
Dev. like Konami, going region locking crazy with their title are just fueling the pirate. They did it on MGR and now Castalevania 2 as well.
To the dev., stop complaining pirate when you are the one swaying buyer away vmad.gif

+1. I have stopped buying pirate a long time ago. However, this kind of ridiculous behavior on the dev side is why the dark side is so tempting. I absolutely hate it when someone tells me about a game and I get interested, then tells me I cannot have it- it's very painful on the heart and reeks of racism and bullying. Less painful is if the game gets released in Malaysia but in Japanese, which a lot of people don't speak.

Region locking must stop. If they region lock a game then complain about piracy, they brought it upon themselves I'm afraid.

For me tho, I buy games when there's Steam Sales or Origin Sales and the game is of interest to me, or if it's really interesting, then I buy without waiting for sales.
