 Buying online from SenHeng, I feel like it's a scam

Hi, just wanna share my experience here, hope you guys can take note. I'm so disappointed with SenHeng now.

On 21/12/13, I'd been order SenHeng product online (the christmas promotion), it been promised to deliver within 7 working days.

On the 7th working day (2/1/14) , I'd email them where is my product, they told me (3/1/14, Friday) mine was allocated in second batch due to high volume of purchase. If the product still haven't deliver to me by next week, I can email the online person in charge to ask.

On 10/1/14 (Friday), the product still haven't reach, so I email the online person in charge. They replied me will reach on Wednesday (15/1/14). And yes, I was disappointed again. I try to email online person in charge again. Now they are not replying my email. I'd been trying to call their customer line 03-92814040 since beginning of the year, no one picking up the phone.

If this is not SenHeng, I would said that I'd been scammed. How possible a big company like this never provide tracking number to the customer and never pick up the phone call ( I'd dialed 50+ times) ?

So guys, please think again if you buying from SenHeng, I would not buy from them anymore.

i ordered 2 items, both was delivered oredi..
1 was delivered about 2 weeks after the purchase..
another 1 was delivered later, 3 weeks maybe..

Out of curiosity, I phoned that number. It says "harap maaf, nombor yang anda dial sedang digunakan. Sila cuba sebentar lagi".

I think the explanation provided "high volume of purchase" makes it sound like they were very busy fulfilling the orders. But how long does it take to pack up the stuff and wait for the courier? More likely, they did not have enough of the things on hand, and they had to wait for the supply to arrive.

Which is why you have to wait again and again. First, their supplier told them next week, then later postponed. If they had the products, they would have sent it to you. But they don't. They're stuck between angry customers, and suppliers taking their own sweet time to deliver. Their staff in the office just don't know how to reply to angry customers, and what to tell them. They then try to avoid the customers, which made them / you even more angry and anxious.

I think they should have been simply been truthful and more open. "Sorry, we ran out of stock and are waiting for more stock from our suppliers. Do you mind waiting until ... or would you rather switch to another model, or have your payment refunded". That would be the proper thing to do.

My advice. Relax. This is really Senheng. They're a big company. Unlikely they will cheat all your money and run away. But it could take a long time to get your product.

The simplest explanation of why they did not send you a tracking number is because they haven't sent the product yet. Because they haven't received the stock.

Ya, true. Maybe those delivered were because they have the stock, while mine unfortunately out of stock. Probably next time they should plan a better promotion. No point has high sales but poor service.

I learnt my lesson from SenHeng.

i think main cause they never anticipated that epic online sale event turn out to be.

n keep taking orders even stocks n immediate stocks edy sold

my fren also only recently got it after over 1 month, also like few hundred time tried to call em. maybe worth bcoz the discount

as for me , never ever lol . see got stock only buy at shop. buy from physical shop quite alot edy. friendly people too.

What point for preorder??
Call them, then only they send to me next day.

My guess is, most online sellers do not have gigantic warehouses like Amazon, where they stock everything they sell. Many of the products, they will only quickly go and get from their supplier once an order has been received from a customer. This will include relatively large/midsized companies like Senheng with lots of outlets.

There are lots of stock in the outlets, but there is no centralized superwarehouse. Most of the stock is in the outlets, and if you visit any Senheng outlet, you'll have an idea of the stock they have on hand.

If the supplier is unable to send immediately, they could call around their outlets to look for the product, but there wouldn't be very many kept in each outlet, they're distributed throughout the country, and would be difficult to send to the customer. Most likely, the website store is deliverying from one or two centralized locations.

I have made an order and payment on 20 Dec, until now, item not delivered, call cannot reach, emails no respond.

It is definitely my last deal with SenHeng Online

10th January 2014, i received my toshiba tv 50inch LED. i from sarawak. share my story to get my tv
at 1st January, i call the customer service called helen. she say that the tv will on ship today and reach after one week.

at 7th Janauary 2014, i call again to helen. she say that the tv will on ship from kl to sarawak at 13rd january and reach at sarawak at 20th january. i say cannot. too late. and she cannot promise the delivery may delay until after cny.

at 8th January 2014, i call her again and she ask me for refund for rm 1999 for toshiba led 50inch. for sure i dont want. finally, she give me a good alternative that is collect the tv at any senheng at sarawak. before new year i go to the sibu branch, there are still many stock. unluckilly, no more stock at two sibu branch after helen check for me. after that she find out that there is a tv toshiba 50inch led at miri(500km from my house). she ask me to collect it due to to far from my house. after that, i say ok.

at 9th january 2014, i call senheng miri branch and he ready the tv for me to collect but 500km from my house and there is no high way in sarawak. luckily this miri senheng provided courier service but i need to pay it my self which cost me around rm 60. then i agree.

at 10th january 2014, i get the tv at the morning. nobody install for me. i have to do i myself. thanks to helen(CS) for helping me to get my item in sudden time. sorry for any rude word as i call for my tv status. i have received four of my item which used four voucher(RM50). thanks.

from my case, i found out that many cs is in bad manner except helen. nw they will ask u to collect the item at which ever branch has the stock and u ok for it. pls call senheng HQ at kl(pass to senheng online) and not customer service line at website(nobody answer). i hope that my experience can help all of u to get the item( i from sarawak where far far away from senheng warehouse at kl).

BTW.. i also received my item 30 mins ago in perfect condition!

They kept their promise that will delivered by today.

No complain and satisfy from me, because they already give discount RM50 x2 items at the first place as compensation.

We need to understand they are new online store and need to handle 20k over orders... really not easy..

they delivered within 30 days and before CNY. so i'm ok with it icon_rolleyes.gif

Ya, they update me tracking number before i receive. They using istoreisend courier service. I think you should report to customer service.

gd to hear that u receive the item alr. for me, they should give us the free coupon for late delivery compensation although i have claimed 4 x rm50 items for it. hehe...

Me too, already pass 7 days but no calls/followup from them.. already report to e-tribunal & pay rm5 for the services.. hope this will resolve.

7 days passed, not even a call from their side
calling their support like 10 times but no answer :mad:
then decided to email them at ccc@senheng.com.my with disappointed wordings and attached together my order number for their reference
out of nowhere got a call from their delivery guys the day after .. dafuq
i guess this is the first and last time using their online service

Senheng online is still worse as before. Plus with many lies and blaming others about their incompetence.
2014, bought a washing machine from Senheng Online, takes 1month++ to deliver to my house.
2016, bought an Air cond from Senheng Online after thinking it may have improve over time and the help line informed of available ready stock but I had wait for a month and still no delivery, the service is lousy as before, no notification of delivery or any info regarding the things you buy and the help line is almost useless.
nearly a month of waiting and no clear delivery date, cancel the order,been informed that the refund process takes about 7-14 days. waiting almost 3 weeks and nothing. when asked the staff said had refund to my CC a week before, when asked for proof of transaction it is not available and they doesnt even know the bank that they refund to. Kept asking me to wait for another 7-14 days for the transaction to clear.
So as a reminder to others, best to AVOID SENHENG ONLINE at all cost

no problem with me ordering from senheng online. Ordered 2 units of mipad, they shipped using GDEX arrived in 2 days.
