Just my curiosity. Does anyone know why 99 speedmart is selling cheaper price than others? shocking.gif

speedmart punya branch (each branch) simple. di depan pintu masuk ada 2 kaunter. both of them same operation. lighting mereka pun bagus dan terang.

mengikut pengiraan aku. renovation Speedmart memerlukan RM 200k smile.gif ini tak termasuk jumlah stok yang ada.

di kawasan aku sini saja dah ada 3 branch speedmart. shocking.gif shakehead.gif

99 speedmart owned by a physically disabled man. that's why usually infront 99 speedmart got disabled parking. maybe he can get cheaper prices than normal bulk prices.

I used to work in Tesco. Do you know that they throw away thousands and thousands of trays of perfectly good chicken eggs every single week ?

Those of us who worked in Tesco tried to buy those eggs before they throw them away but the management forbid us from doing so. For them anything that is marked "throw" must be "throw".

do u know why it was marked 'throw'?

do u know why when marked throw, must throw?

I heard they are being investigated for money laundering, dont get me wrong, they dont pay cash to vendors, the fastest vendor that gets paid is the ciggy vendors like BAT, PMI, JTI etc, other than that is 14, 30, 60 or 90 days from invoice acceptance. His wife has another company under her thats supplying goods to 99, seldom sees her (maybe busy with kids) but she holds very little shares in 99 (surprising). Banks are worry abt exposure to 99 due to Mr Lee's condition... He's a great man indeed, very hands on, very humble but the history behind his success some people in Klang would know.... Rumours has it, he was selling pirated DVD, got caught by police and release out of sympathy etc etc...

The vendors are required to pay/contribute ard RM130 for each store they open hence basically 99 doesnt need to fork out much for investment accept. Their rental is cheap and their concept does work, they dont need high margin, provides employment to plenty, low operating cost, low cost of manpower, Mr Lee is very hands on but the amount of cash............

Can't reveal more.... my only hope is his sucess is blessed on his true ability and the workable concept of his stores which is similar to 7-11 and conquering Klang Valley entirely... notworthy.gif
