It depends on how serious the situation is but I don't think the labour will cost RM800 even at Perodua Service.

also depends on what kind of leak you're referring to. is it leaking from the gaskets? unless the car is consuming engine oil (i.e. blue smoke coming out from exhaust) i don't think you need an overhaul.

that's a typical cut throat price. Please consult other mechanics.

1. try ask other shops for their opinions.

2. $$$ depends on how severe the leakage.

3. have u ever over-heated the engine before?

btw, it's Engine Oil, not Black Oil.
Engine Oil is typically yellowish when new, & black when it's due for change.

take ur car to the car wash... tell them u wanna wash the engine (might as well wash n vacuum the car one shot)...

after the wash, keep an eye out for the leak and see where the leak is coming from. once u find out where the leak is, (take picture if ur unsure) post here again and ask.

Depend on situation bro,if your wan cut cost and thinking to sell off your car soon, dont do so much, cut budget....if you wan use long term, then i suggest you done full overhaul, bring your car to trusted foreman.some parts really need take out only can see ,if you dont wan headache with your car, done full overhaul already then in future take care your car.
