Hmm why buy a watch that you won't wear ? Even if i bought a patek i would wear it on a rotation basis.

Althought i would agree to wearing a sports/divers watch more often due to their rigidity (Rolex Sub / Omega SMP) as compared to maybe a dressy JLC or Patek.

Back to topic - I would buy what i want as long as i can afford it without concerning myself too much with the price. Its called luxury watches .. money spent when other commitments and investments are comfortably achieved.
