Hi guys,

First of all, what do you think of the technician of AC(Apple Centre) of Malaysia is qualified enough to perform their job?

In term of Honesty, Experience, Knowledge, Intelligence, Diligent, etc (you may add some)

Personal opinion (no offence, just want them to improve):

Honesty = never know
Experience = never know
Knowledge = 1/10
Intelligence = 1/10
Diligent = never know

Note: Due to strong marketing strategies, every salesman and technician will give you a smile.gif when approaching you. Therefore, never know (in Honesty, Experience and Diligent in my column).

There's difference between Knowledge and Intelligence.
Knowledge represents how much he knows apple's stuffs (hardware + software).
Intelligence represents the way how he/she tackles the problem that occurred in your apple's stuff/gadget.

I hope you all can speak out something. Or you all never counter anything before? Tell your stories. thumbup.gif
Really no offence here. Just hope that they can improve in future. In a more honesty way to maintain their business.

I once went to the Apple Center around my area, Penang...the Apple Corner in a mall...

I ask him, what's the differents between the older Macs and the latest Macs with Intel Chip in it... he said that he need to call his supervisor about this...

Not really friendly, pride is high out! Not even a smile to me..when I was there sweat.gif

And I just told him there's no need to call your supervisor... and back to my question and I answered it : I think the latest Macs with Intel Core Duo chip runs way more faster than the older Macs without the chip...and he said, Yeah, I think so...and I just walked away with a smile... doh.gif what a waste

my encounter:

Even after i called for the sales people, they just looked at me....continues to listen to the stuff playing on the iMac (some donwloaded jokes).....after finish listening(about 5 mintues), then one of them came to me...i asked if it can be used with the macbook....2 words came from his mouth

"can not"

then immediately went back to the iMac, continue to listen to another joke...

he attended me for 3 seconds after i waited for 5 mintues.....and there were not any customer in the shop at that time.......

Top notch service from Gallant IT Holdings Sdn. Bhd. in Mid valley

according to apple.com, the convertors are the same....i was discouraged to get it after the guy told me it's different....
