Matic is a good candidate to replace carrick. But he's still not our main priority. We can go for carvarlho in summer

QUOTE(onelove89 @ Jan 15 2014, 08:53 AM) Crap, heard that Rafael might leave this summer too? Gosh, how many of our players want to leave just because of one not so productive season? Rafael wont leave le. Fabio maybe la...The one leaving in summer i think would be, Kagawa(Wants to be playing his favourite number 10 role), Chicarito(With his ability to score goals everytime he plays, he wants to be playing regularly), Evra(Obviously will be replaced by a new left back), Vidic(I hope that we can convince him to stay for another 1 -2 years?), Young, Anderson, Nani. (Some might leave in january like anderson, nani). And ferdinand will be retiring i guess. This post has been edited by nshady: Jan 15 2014, 01:24 PM |

QUOTE(alowie @ Jan 16 2014, 12:05 AM) he's been playing at left back at some occasions, left-footed, has decent technique, in case you're not aware. Definitely not a direct replacement for evra because that's not even his original position. He's well known for being a centre-back(Great replacement for vidic). You can check the positions he has played this season: http://www.whoscored.com/Players/44643/This post has been edited by nshady: Jan 16 2014, 12:31 AM |

The biggest failure for moyes will be failing to bring in a CM and left back this month. 11 days to go. Please...I know its hard to lure players at this time(january) and world cup is coming. But he and the one who handles the transfer deals MUST DO IT no matter what(Spend the all what u need, whatever it takes). If not we will seriously suffer for the rest of the season and moyes will put his job on the line.

QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Jan 22 2014, 09:44 AM) i wonder what if Fellaini plays alongside Kagawa, supporting Welbeck. Mata not that good at wings. No speed. His best role is number 10.a formation like this De Gea Rafael - Vidic - Evans - Evra Januzaj - Carrick - Mata (eh) Fellaini - Kagawa That Kid it will be an attacking fiesta. why did I put Fellaini is because i believe in his afroness and physical ability. i wonder why did Moyes insist on him playing with a wrist injury early in the season. ruled out for Belgium, but still play in United's matches. if only we had a Roy Keane kind of player to be in Carrick's position. physical midfield WIN. as long as Jones and/or Smalling do not play, the defence is already solid as it is. both players mentioned are really prone to ball watching and herp derp especially during counter attack. just imagine... Fellaini covers the ball, passes to Kagawa, slots it for That Kid... GOAL oh wait I forgot we had Rooney and RvP.... EDIT: and what if Januzaj and Fellaini partner in midfield. OH MY BELGIUM CHOCOLATE This post has been edited by nshady: Jan 22 2014, 12:15 PM |

QUOTE(onepack @ Jan 22 2014, 12:46 PM) perhap but he did played there wt valencia.. under matteo mata also hv started from flank cut inside i think he used to play left wing for valencia right? but mourinho prefer hazard/willian over him on the flanks now. I dont really like him playing on the right tho.i think mata can be good playing anywhere supporting the striker talksport - how mata will start wt rooney and rvp But he's such a quality player, having him will just strengthen the squad. I dont know how moyes will use mata. According to chelsea fans, best position for mata is freerole/central. There is where he can make full use of his creativity and passing. He can play on the wings, but he's not the dribbling/speed type of player. And won't do much trackback.

“David De Gea was texting me the last 5/6 days, ‘when are you coming, when are you landing, are you coming by helicopter or bike’!’
QUOTE Mata can’t play on the wing in a four-man midfield – he doesn’t track back and do enough defensively for that role. You could push Rooney out wide and play Mata behind Robin van Persie in a 4-4-1-1. But Rooney doesn’t want to play there. If United get a world-class midfielder in this window, they could change their shape to accommodate Mata and play a 4-3-3. Moyes has to do a lot of tweaking towards the tactics. Needs to get mata his best position which is behind the striker. This post has been edited by nshady: Jan 26 2014, 03:29 PM |
