David Moyes is the problem, no matter how many top players United buys, Moyes will continue to fail. The problem is that the players don't respect him and it started with Rooney. When Sir Alex was here, no one was bigger than him and he wasn't bigger than club. Moyes has already made Rooney bigger than him and even an 18 year old that has won nothing! Why would anyone play above their potential for a man they don't respect? Once Rooney was able to highjack the club, the players had no reason to respect him. Say whatever you want about the club, they're not as talented as City or Chelsea, but they're certainly more talented than Arsenal. People like to say United have no World Class players, but Arsenal was first in the league with Ozil as their only world class player where United had two of the best STs in the world. The difference? Wenger is a GREAT coach, Moyes is a midtable manager.

I totally agree with this. I was rooting for DM to let Rooney go in the summer(which many of you may not agree) and get the best out of Kagawa. I believe RVP / Hernandez would be a beast given Kagawa's amazing talent. I hope he does sell Rooney in the summer.

Not too sure why Fellaini was bought, but I hope he may start to use him well. Let's give him another season & see how it goes.

Rather than buying a CM, i believe in giving Nick Powell a chance. That lad has every chance to be the next big thing at Man Utd.

A solid defender, like Dante (who has recently been linked to ManUtd) would be a great addition, also Ezequiel Garay from Benfica.

This is just my opinion.

Wonders if Juan Mata will be given number 7.

What I'm waiting to see is, if Moyes knows how to exploit Mata's abilities. Look at Kagawa, he doesn't know how to use him well.

He didn't. But if he was still the manager, he would have sold Rooney to get the best out of Kagawa, since Strootman was already on his way.

Here's a rumor on going . Thought of sharing.

@90thMin: Manchester United officials believe the club will have both Toni Kross & Cavani in the Summer. Negotiations ongoing for both. #Frightening

@90thMin: Breaking: #MUFC source "Moyes is trying to tie up Cavani deal for the summer, player willing to move, PSG want Januzaj part of deal. #mufc

@90thMin: Mourinho trying to pull a fast one! #CFC willing to buy or swap David Luiz for Toni Kroos.
#CFC source "Jose is in love with this player"

@90thMin: #CFC have out bided #MUFC for Luke Shaw. CFC want summer deal. Not sure if Utd will bid again, Man Utd now sniffing around Filipe Luis.

Moyes was in plan long ago, I cant remember the exact time. but it was being said before though many thought It was just rumour, well so happen its true...embrace the new ManUtd manager, David Moyes.

Reports were mentioning that it was the other way round. SAF wanted to appoint Mourinho, the board rejected because he was a short term person & someone that does not focus on youth. Fergie went with Moyes at the end.

There was a news also the top 3 candidate to replace Fergie(listed by Fergie), and apparently, Michael Laudrup was one of them. Not too sure who the other 2 was. Guardiola wasn't part of the list even.

Follow this dude on twitter, indykaila. Very reliable source.

Would be surprised if SAF wanted Mourinho AND the board rejected it. That would mean the board rejected the recommendation of both SAF *and* Gill.

Of course Guardiola wouldn't be on the list, since by then he had already announced he would be taking over at Bayern?
*
Nope. It is a collective thing at Man Utd. It does not mean when SAF wants to appoint Mr.X, they will be able to do so.

The list came out even before Guardiola was announced as Bayern's manager. It was out last Nov.

It's really dumb for DM to say such a thing. MU stocks would have dropped further. This would really impact the American owners.

Americans are known for their no nonsense approach. Wonder if DM will get the boot for this.

Guys, say IF DM gets the boot, who would you support to be the next manager?

My opinion, Ole. What's yours?

In my opinion. Whether or not it is the players or DM, I believe DM is not stamping his ground there. One of the biggest mistake was also letting go of Rene, Mike Phelan & Eric Steele. DM can change things around but there's only to a certain point. There must be a reason why players seem to be revolting/under performing. From the likes of Valencia, to Carrick, Jones to Smalling , Rafael, all are underperforming. It just doesn't make sense, or maybe the new system just doesn't suit their style of play.

Now Vidic wants to leave, Ferdinand's recent tweet seems weird, Beckham & Giggs seems to be covering up quite a bit when talking to the press. Odd.

Tactically, I've not seen MU play such boring football. There's nothing exciting about the way they play now. Nothing attractive.

I believe DM will get it right, but for how long, we don't know. My take is another season, then I hope the board & Sir Alex brings in Ole.

Looking at how Liverpool raped Arsenal, I wonder how are we going to play against Liverpool..
