QUOTE(G_KeN @ Feb 10 2014, 11:00 AM) Moysie 24/7 rotate his centre backs and the midfielders. No chemistry at all for the two CBs, i thk he had no choice but to rotate them...at the start of the season he did pair up rio and vida quite often and results werent that favourable eitherRafa's chelsea won the europa league and beaten us in the league midfield is just....oh well nothg more can be said there |

QUOTE(sunblaze @ Feb 10 2014, 11:27 AM) Rio and Vidic are past their best, and age (plus injuries) means even if we wanted to they can't play regularly. If we want 2 regular CBs to give stability it's gonna be Evans and Jones. yeah i really want him to have a good amount of consecutive games at CB...i do think evans and jones will be the future pairing at United with both of their skills complementing each other...not counting out smalling as well, hope he develop into a top CB and i wouldnt be surprised if he becomes one of the two main CBs...Evans has played a fair bit since age is on his side and he is the most senior/experienced defender after Rio/Vidic. His only flaw is his occasional brain-farts and that he can be bullied physically sometimes, but Jones can help him out with that. Jones has played a decent amount, but injuries and our CM issues meant he has played CM/RB as much or more than CB in the past 2 seasons. He needs a decent run @ CB (preferably with Evans) if he is to end up being a proper CB instead of John O'Shea 2.0. Smalling has played a lot, but Rafael being injured AND our CB issues means he has been moved around as well. Evans and Jones are my guess for the Arsenal CB pairing. On current form, I'd expect Vidic and Rio will warm the bench unless Evans or Jones are injured. If Vidic or Rio starts, then it's time to pray they stay in our penalty box so they don't get caught out so easily. i guess we gonna see vida-evans again if jones isnt fit for arsenal game |
