hi, this is my setup for myvi se 2007

head unit: pioneer with 3 RCA pre-out (Front, Rear, Sub)
Speaker Front : MTX CTC 6.5 2-way component [Front door mod) and swap front dashboard 4" standard with tweeter.
Speaker Rear : MTX CTC 5" 2-way component
Amplifier: JBL CS50.4 (4 channel amp)
Subwoofer : Infinity Basslink (direct pioneer HU as this sub has built in amp)

this is my current configuration for 4 speaker

I want to change all speaker except subwoofer..so,

Front dashboard with 4" Polk Audio 2-way series speaker
Front door 6.5" 2-way Infinity Reference series speaker
Rear door 5" 2-way Infinity Reference series speaker

The question is, can my JBL 4 channel powered all 6 speaker ? I see that my amplifier has AUX RCA OUTPUT (no control for it), can I use that to connect Rear speaker ? I will add pre-amp to control the volume..

user posted image
no control for the AUX OUTPUT, so i'm planning to add pre-amp to control it. Can I?

So the last configuration will be like this

From HU -> Sub output -> subwoofer
From HU -> Front output -> Amplifier (front output) -> 4" dash speaker
From HU -> Rear output -> Amplifier (rear output) -> 6.5" front door speaker
From Amplifier AUX Output -> pre-amp (volume) -> 5" rear door speaker

Please help me suggest, thanks! smile.gif

my myvi has a 2 chn amp only powering 6x9 2 way speaker and, front 4'' 2 way speaker and underseat subwoofer(not active sub).
if u think the sound outcome is enough for u then just stick with it, else u can upgrade or add another amp anytime.

So, I need to combine input from Front channel amplifier for front dashboard 4" and front door 6.5".

Thanks to ^pomen_GTR^ for the suggestion! Btw, is there any shop that sell sound proof for front dashboard, and door??

Isnt MTX to Polk a bit of a waste of money? i mean not much performance gain there.

Edit: After reading your post again, I just realized you're going from component speakers to 2ways. So yeah...... dun see any improvement.

I'm just saying, you're moving from components to 2ways, you might be disappointed. How much for the 6.5"?

there r reasons why spk co. favour tweeter than fullranger for high freq sound
one needs to listen n decide if its their cup of tea/ not,,,,
