Hi, can lawyer become a property agent ?

Will it againts the law that lawyer only can have one job, that is lawyer.
Doing others job will make his license closed.

Conflict of interest I think, because lawyers draft the Sales and Purchase Agreement.

I've seen before legal firm owners buy properties and they're the one who did all the snp n loan agreement. No issue. They have the skills why not do it their own. If give to other legal firms, easily >20k depending on the price of property.

Probably you cant draft the documents & agreements, that would be a conflict of interest.

You get more money on property sales than chambering.

I think he will be rich if he doing property sales and then doing the s&P also for the customer.

He havent done chambering yet later draft wrong SNP
Also i think will be conflict. Property Sales is to push the product while a Lawyer is to ensure all formalities are taken care of legally. If the property failed to transact, what will happen. Will you buy a 2nd car based on one sided advise from seller or bring your own mechanic to check?

don't understand TS question..

if the lawyer stop practising law, why can't he do other jobs? hmm.gif

unless he is both acting as the developer's property agent n legal counsel for the transaction between the buyer n developer, then it is conflict of interest...

S&P preparation requires license.

And once u're a lawyer, u'll be stuck with lawyering job to climb ur way up. You won't have time to do sales.

then it is better to let the sales agent push the products while I handling the snp.
