Hi guys, I am making a trip to Melbourne end of this month, and I thought of bringing my dslr + laptop + tripod there in one carry on luggage. Is it allowed for a tripod to be strapped on the side of the bag? Something like this picture PhotoIf anyone has tried/done/attempted it before, do let me know If not, I will have to call up their customer service.

Thanks. The prob is i dont want to bring along my tripod bag. Want to just hang it all into 1 bag I read it on some AA forum saying the tripod max can have a certain length in order to be a carry on. Or else, exceeding it, it will be considered a check in item.
