this is no more major service right ? i thought major service is usually your normal service plus gb oil, gb oil filter, spark plugs, check power steering oil, and check brakes/brake pads. which is why your major service can sometimes hit 1k if all also need to change or service.

engine mountings and timing belt is under wear and tear items. engine mounts, if more than a few years, should change already because the rubber inside the mount cannot abosrb the vibration properly already. especially if you feel your car inside, everything also vibrates. to be honest, if your mileage more than 100k, already, just find a reliable mechanic outside to do lor. buy your engine mountings on lowyat forum, someone in automotive garage got sell. then give to workshop to replace, there will charge at most also 100 ringgit for upah . the timing belt, 100k, better change, since changing timing belt, might as well check the auxiliary belt and the waterpump. sekali jalan, satu kali upah .

Hi guys, went there last monday. So when he say kawtim, means i need to pay him inside my car. hide2. shitty things. cant even gv me any receipt. So in the end, i can conclude go to SC is alot more worst than outside workshop. atleast outside can gv me receipt. their point is very simple, u want cheaper, u do with me direct. so who in the world would be so genius to decline. as i know, if even expensive car like bmw also can gv cheap price but still within bmw services. pay at counter. coz i decline so many times, now he meet me straight away say only 1.3k. do major service, mounting n timing belt. when i reach meet him, he already do all the things.

this style, i think he split some with the storekeeper ? because he dont pay for the parts. later, end of the month, they do stock count, then they will detect certain parts missing. i guess, this is why in cose, they dont allow owners to go to the service bay . to avoid such a thing from happening.

my timing belt change only RM250. RM150 for timing belt kit and RM100 for labour charge at proton sc. that 1 is really kawtim price but not under-table charge bcoz with official proton receipt, the labour charge part got *regular customer price*.. lucky me..
