So...Sleeping Dogs is free...and region locked.

Can i bypass it using a vpn? Has anyone tried it?

What's your setup/how do you do it?

Any tips/advice?

Sleeping Dogs is not region lock, it's console lock. You need matching hardware and account to be able to download it. For example, if your account is US, you need US machine and vice versa.

If you really need that game, migrate your account to SG and download again. Friend of mine with SG account and Asian machine can download without the need of VPN. Be reminded that you have to wait for another 3-4 months before you can migrate your account again.

I configured my VPN in a way that my laptop connected to router via ethernet and I share the VPN connection via Virtual wifi running on laptop.

Another way of connecting it is connect your xbox via ethernet to your PC after established VPN connection and share the VPN connection port to ethernet.
