i like TUDM getting 071 too, value for money but, not easy in integration, getting 071 ship is easy, but only system in ship to integrate our network is problem, we used/familiar with OSI marine navigation system and AIS system, not sure they Canada & US allow "high tech" system install in china made 071 ship （only allow certain in some commercial/civilian product） . u know already right US and alliance have technology prohibition over china， other wise we need adopt China system.

actually s300 system is similar capable but much cheaper system plus we like to customize our system. So there might be export version for s300 system for malaysia if we were to purchase.
