Well i wonder if portable hard disk is vulnerable to virus attacks when you connect it to computers other than your own. if it is so, what is the best way to protect the portable hard disk from being corrupted/ infected when plugging into any computers?

Of course it will be infected. Don't copy any file if you think the computer is not safe. Make sure that you scan the file before copying it to your media.

Frankly, there is not much way you can protect your media's files from being corrupted if infected. Best method is to backup. Never do things the lazy way. Cheers.

If u don't expose into the virus infection area/into ur network, gurantee np..But u may never know virus can pop out anywhere..So scaning it with antivirus is a must every time u insert stuff into it
