help help ,anybody know tat xqbox 902 can fit thermaltake ruby orb or not ? my casing is modded,which is previously used by wallawey,and i see got ppl mount blue orb inside,but they using amd mobo,the socket is quite low and close to middle on the mobo,but intel mobo socket are quite top,so i scare after i put ruby orb on it,it will make me cannot close the case,help

the board us asrock wolfdale1333 d667,the ruby orb is 12cm fan,really confuse

but bro,ur mobo is amd,amd socket position is lower than intel socket today i try to put a 12cm casing fan on the socket to agak agak the size problem,the casing fan over the top of the mobo,and wallawey,the qbox 902 is only one side transparent or 2 side ? i not yet got chance to see the casing coz i still exam

ala,tat ruby orb is second hand in garage sale la,nanti kena grab tak da lagi,yesterday i cut a 140mm x 140mm paper and try put on the socket,it exceds about 3-4cm of the top of mobo,then i keep check the qbox 902 picture,really cannit fit i think,it is not tall problem,is too 'fat' the cooler,sad la have to say bye bye to it

i think will think again after i go back hometown and measure the space myself,coz now not yet holiday,dun have chance to go back,btw,thx a lot guys

Added on April 25, 2008, 12:40 pmhey guys,due to the xqbox dun have good front intake fan holes,so i plan to do like tis:

i plan to make the rear 120mm fan holes as intake and let all fresh air blow into the casing,then let the air pressure inside casing become full and then the hot air will force to go out from those ventilation holes and suck out by psu .....

how u guys think?

if i do so,the fresh air tat suck in will immediately suck out by the large 12cm fan ,and the other area such as graphic card will not get proper air circulation

wah bro,i jus a normal student leh even where to buy arcylic oso a problem,and those machine tat use to cut holes i oso dun have,even have i oso dun have skill to do tat dun wan mod la,jus wan to try solve the very litle problem by little idea

erm,duno leh,anyone know thermaltake lanbox lite cost how much ? and where got sell ?

sure many ppl will get if the price cheap,since got ppl buy at rm310,u make it cheaper ya~

finally finish my sff,but currently in 'beta' version,coz not enough time for me to make it more nicer will do the cable management when i got holiday

i think if wan to add a graphic card,u should consider twice before spend on mobo with HDMI port,coz u usually these mobo will more expensive than those which are dun have the port...and after u have a graphic card,ur graphic card will have the HDMI oso( of course modern one la )

if from top to bottom,then the psu's fan is suck out ,will it cause some 'air flow' problem between them?becoz they are 'face to face ':hmm:

small really good u know ? even looks at it whole day i oso not boring due to i am not rich ppl,so jus can make tis

wuuu,Lian li is rich ppl 's toy there are many SFF case maker outside,such as Xqbox,Microfly,thermaltake,Silverstone,etc...many leh.

in forum got ppl selling,u go and check..damn cun

ya,agree with Doom,even a pentium dual core plus a 945GC mobo and 2gb value ram oredi can make a sff,plus get a cheap GC,u can play games too..tats wat i did in my sff.see,all cheap component...but my casing oso cheap thing

mfcm wan sell his casing oredi ? his 's casing saME brand with me ,but he modded the panel

i think cant la,coz u see the noctua oso ngam ngam only,if tower mabe will clash with the psu
