Hey Doom, wanted to ask about your V350 rig. I can see from your picture, that your power supply is right on top of your heat sink. Wouldn't they fighting for air since both are blowing at opposite direction? Some CPU cooler will also work with sucking air instead of blowing down, may be u can try that. And what is the load temperature of the CPU? I am thinking of getting a samll case for my new HTPC, i like both Silverstone LC17 and Lian Li v350. But worry about the tight fit in V350.

hmm ,,, I have the fan configure to face upward .. means blowing air toward PSU and let the PSU to exhaust it through its rear vent..

I've no problem for both idle and load temperature on my stock E6600.. 30c to 38c ..

However with the new weird and awkward E8400 ... it idle on 40c and load at 48c ...  but no problem ... system doesn't hang ...

Choosing which SFF case depend on ur usage and expectation from the rig ...

Thanks for the answer, i prefer both function and look as well. Thinking to build a raid array to keep all my HD media. Not sure i want to make it internal or external. Or within the HTPC or another a seperate system. Since all my HDDs in my CM Stacker and external HDDs are full. I dont really need performance for the raid though, since i wont use it for editing or photoshop. But just for data safety purposes.
