QUOTE(Strik3 @ Nov 5 2007, 12:24 PM) To answer your Qn, using stock HSF or 3rd party HSF has minimal impact of ventilation nor airflow. The HSF is only important to cool down the CPU. What really impacts the airflow is the obstacles within the casing, such as cables and wires a.k.a. Cacings. The more the cacings sprout everywhere in the casing, the more TERRIBLE it will obstruct the airflow. So tie the cables and wires in an organized manner for better airflow. The second factor that affects ventilation is the fan used to introduce cool air into and extract hot air out of the casing. That's the reason for modding casings to include additional fans to increase ventilation. cheers~ i second your opinion. good airflow inside SFF casing is really compusory. else, u will end up with heat problems. try to create lower pressure inside ur casing by putting higher CFM for exhaust fans. this way, the cool air much more easily to go in and cool down ur hardware inside ur sff case coz air intend to move to surrounding with lower pressure rather than to higher pressure...

QUOTE(Doom @ Nov 26 2008, 02:00 AM) how would a case make gaming experience different ??? it's the hardware inside that affect gaming experience such as processor, sound card and video card .. other than that as monitor and speaker or headphone make the difference as well... there is no case meant for a specific purpose like movie, gaming or music .. agreed...no case also a.k.a naked rig can do gaming la, depends on the hardwares.... Maybe while gaming, he stare at his case for seconds, then continue gaming again...
