@kidmad
most TVs usually only have RCA input. what u can do is use ur GCs S-Video out to connect to the TV by using an S-Video-RCA cable |

unless u want the bling factor on the modulation mod.....dont waste ur money on the Frozen CPU one. theyre just using female molexes. which u can actually easily get them here. UV and non UV. Jalan pasar will have the white molexes as well as the pins for them.
only thing is ur gonna need to open up and empty out the PSU and drill out the PSU case to fit the molexes in. the only advantage i see from the Frozen CPU kit is that it has that adapter thingy to fit the molex in. downside is that it increases the overall length of the PSU. if i were to do the mod id much prefer to use other type of connectors than the typical molex and keep to the original PSU length..meaning drilling it out. its alot more work...but a whole lot cheaper. if u need 1-2 unit why dont u take one weekend to go down to singapore and buy?? i did that for my headphones and my rims
if ur in KL theres a luxury bus (double decker i think) that leaves from mid valley to orchard road and price is quite alright. forgot the link for the bus company though. once reach singapore, then quick quick go to Sim Lim Square buy the thing and take bus back the same day if u dun wanna spend money on hotels. |

if im not mistaken some forumers has already cut the metal part within ur red circle off to give better clearance for their coolers...
also, ur red circle so hard to see la..make the line thicker or use more contasting colors la |

try making the 120mm exhaust as intake by turning it around.
but make sure u isolate the hot air from the PSU. use/ make some sort of air duct to make sure the air goes the other way and not into the 120mm rear fan. |

guys..i need a recommendation on what CPU Cooler to get for my Microfly case...really need one urgently. the cooler will be fitted onto a Biostar TForce 6100 motherboard (both ram slots used)
main priorities are... 1/ silent 2/ can silde out the mobo tray WITHOUT having to remove the cooler 3/ no LED 4/ able to fit the Biostar TForce 6100 (s754) motherboard without issues, with clearance over the NB Heatsink and ram slots (both ram slots will be used). BUDGET: around 150 (can add a little bit more). thanks in advance... EDIT: forgot some info This post has been edited by mADmAN: Aug 9 2007, 03:28 AM |

yeah...i was thinking of getting one of the TT flower coolers...mainly coz i can unscrew the fan easily for cleaning if i need to....but then the LED
ive checked the dimension of the 7700 against the blue orb ii. the width is smaller...which means itll be able to slide in and out of the case....BUT its 1mm taller...so dunno can fit or not...coz judging from the pic posted by ksl below, i dunno if the extra 1mm height can fit or not.... its already so close in there...the zalman 7000 confirm can fit...but would much prefer the 7700 as its bigger hence more silent. QUOTE(ksl279 @ Mar 9 2007, 08:49 PM) ur method is wrong. you shld secure the mobo to the tray and insert it to the casing, the ORB II you can insert it from top. This is wat i do when i use ORB II on Microfly. ikan posted a pic with the 7000 and its cun la...good clearance...but ive gone through this entire thread and theres no pic of the case with a 7700 Added on March 9, 2007, 8:56 pm this is how close ORB II in Microfly. ![]() |

anywa, i bought my normal microfly @ SGD85 including PSU theres a shop selling an option without PSU @ SGD60+ if the BX6 is the one with the door..then its slightly higher by around SGD10 if i remember correctly. worth the trouble or not, well...i bought mine while i was there...but i went to singapore for other reasons...the case was a bonus of the trip. if ur from KL and ur going down just to buy 1 unit of that case, no. not worth it imho. but if u wanna buy 2-3 mebbe la. |
