Hey guys, im currently using XCube ....Im just wondering is it possible to do a 'transplant"
Removing everything(mobo and all hardware) and move everything to a new casing...
then get better spec and put into this casing?
is it possible ah?

That would be quite a challenge.. Guess I will pay lowyat a visit this coming weekend and scout around
Im not entirely familiar with SFF mobo since I bought this casing+mobo in a set like how shuttle offered

Just do a quick run through on c-zone's price list... dunno which mobo is ITX one that can fit into my existing Xcube SFF.
Any sifu out there can name out a few of the mobo frm the list?

problem is all shuttle size SFF is using flex-atx....If I want to replace it...I will have to find these size and internet dont have much info on flex-atx...maybe i need to drop by c-zone and see if they got anything

Looks like its near impossible to replace a new mobo+part into my existing Aopen Xcube EZ65 liao then....I really like the casing very very much..

Sniper, where do you get your Aopen product frm? I call up a few distributor but they dont bring in SFF like Xcube and etc

One reason I havent upgraded my com is because I love my Aopen casing way too much... Thinking of getting a small mobo to replace it now.

Usually it is. but if you are going for shuttle
their board is custom made one

Hopefully I wont kena warning le:)
this is really a sleek one.. you have to see it to feel how elegant it is
can insert 8800gts but have to sacrfice the card reader.. else wont fit in

yeah doom, I understand how you felt.
Personally after using small size cpu so many years. I prefer seeing small case next to my table than big case of the floor.
Theres simpy too much cons and pros to consider when it comes to this..
argg... in dilemma again every time I want to switch to new computer:(

Currently going to build a new SFF rig,
Asus TA-P9645GC Intel C2D E4600 or E2180 ( HELP~) 2+1 GB 667 MHz Corsair Value rams ( I think this board support max 2g, but web site stated 4g) XfX 8600gts XXX Edition
Any comment on this?

hmm.. you are usign microfly?
As far as I know shuttle cant insert cause of 9inch long size, block by the metal case of optical drive
