I want to build an sff rig. But i'm not so sure of which type of mobo can go in. Does it only support micro atx? Furthermore, will the latest GC fit in the casing? Like say, NV 9600GT? |

Just found the time to post my SFF here! Hello.. And i need help..
Any user of the Lian Li v350 casing here? I wanna ask, what GC do u use; and is the casing restricted to mid-range GCs bcoz of the size of the GC? I'm asking bcoz i want to upgrade my current GC, 8600GT to a more powerful card, but the guys at ATE told me it can't fit in the casing. Assuming that the info is correct; that the casing kenot fit hi-end GHCs, is there any 9800gt or 8800gt that can fit in the v350? Thanks! |

Woa... Looks like quite a tight fix there... Is the beast yours dude?
Seeing as the card will fit to my casing (i'm planning to go for 9800 gt at the time being), do i have to change from my 350W psu for a more powerful psu? Common psu to go with 9800gt/gtx is 550W, is it? And there's the question of choosing between ATI 4800 series and the nvidia 9k series... If i'm not mistaken, the the ati 4850 is meant to compete with nvidia 9600gt, and the 4870 to the 9800gt right? Pls correct me if i'm wrong on this Thanks! |
