if you want manual, get manual! I'm driving Vios 2012 J spec AT, 17x8 vossen, zerone hu/lo adjustable 6kg spring rate, 2" exhaust system, higher FC compared with others but I just love my ride!
its the pride you must have, ita your ride after all
1) definitely a lot more higher, dont look at Michellin, you cant afford at all.. Falken is cheap
2) more stable ride, because,bigger tyre surface area
3) noisy is depends on tyre and sound proof through
4) definitely higher fuel consumption, you need some mods to stable your,power and FC
5) what do you think leh?

you should feel the 'heavy' when you upgraded to 16 right? you will feel slightly more when you go for 17, but during cornering its very nice..
another thing, most likely you will hit your inner fender when you turn your wheels if you get 8jj..

using Torco SR-1 5w30 with a bottle of Torco MPZ, i get slightly decrease in FC around 14.5 - 15km/L while gained smoother acceleration and coasting further

i use SR-1R 10w40 previously i get better FC, minimum 15.2km/L to 15.8km/L but the accleration at low RPM is kinda sluggish, when cruising at high speed the car is more quiet, FC from KL to Penang full tank is around 17.2km/L, average 110-120km/h

finally solved this... collected my car on Monday late noon.

The rattling noise is gone. Its actually comes from the seatbelt mechanism on driver side B pillar; behind the plastic housings. Phew!

However, i would like to share that this particular Toyota Balakong SC is not recommended if you plan to leave your car there for some time. After i collected my car:
1. Got thick grease stain on my car seat, and B pillar body.
2. Some kind of liquid on my car mat on rear seat
3. Scratches all over my plastic housing that covers the B pillar; and door panels after they fiddle around with
4. My fuel tank becomes EMPTY; whereby my ODO trip meters at 290km only. My average mileage per tank is around 400. When i send in my car, it was around 210km.
5. My total ODO was around 58xx, when i got my car; its at 59xx. I highly suspected that they drive my car around and thrash it.
6. Sweet liquid(like Teh or Milo) stain on my cabin; especially the centre console cover.

I wonder if i could bang table at their Manager office.

I'm so pissed off now.

good things doesn't come cheap.

unless you buy their higher end model like C/D Segment car. The target is difference hence build quality is better.

i'm really regretted this Vios J purchase.

This kind of hollow noise normally comes from the following:
1. Pregnant tyre
2. Wheel bearing

check it out.

pregnant means swollen tyre.. yes...

as you drive, the tyre rolls.. uneven rotation create space in between tyre and road... thats why the wong wong noise.

for bearing, worst case scenario is that the wheel might fall off...

my suggestion, send to trusted foreman to check it out first.
