quite some number of owners here doesn't have the solution from Toyota except AromaChong which she managed to claim fullset of lower arm.

I did asked SC this morning, they said its a common issue for Vios which at the moment they don't have any solution.
i think they have stock now, perhaps 1.5 months.

I have a highly recommended SA here; which based in Serdang Raya. Its under UMW Motor hence you rest assured that they have the stocks priority.
*
RoxyMunky, can PM me your recemended toyota serdang rayas branch SA to me?

THanks

Only three model in my list. Either it is vios, city or almera. How much for vios insurance?
*
I also is new owner for this vios, n my old car is honda city 2006. I change to vios is bcoz my city cvt gearbox start give me problem, I feel my old honda city more power n nice to drive compare to this new vios. Vios is like no power to climb up a small hill when i go home every day. Mayb is my problem coz still new to vios.

I will choose honda if the city is not using cvt gearbox.

i think its RM2k+.
CVT power output is linear compared to conventional gearbox. Its the nature of CVT. But the upside is that its fuel savings.
*
Yah... CVT is really fuel saving alot, but when CVT giving a problem is really sakit kepala n cost a "bomb" to replace new CVT.

sent my car to Toyota Balakong today... one shot for 10k service, engine mounting and roof insulation claim. following is the itemNo for you all as reference:
http://1drv.ms/1iQIybC

Item1 is engine mounting. Item2 is the rood insulation.
after i chao... they called and said that the rood insulation is not here yet... therefore, they will skip that~ doh.gif

It will only reach by end of month... therefore, need to go back again~ doh.gif
*
How the result? Did settle the "tuk-tuk" sound when crossing speed hump? All can fix in 1 day?

the hollow sound from rear is no longer there. much better driving experience...

I've even done the 4 wheel arch to kill the tyre noise...

now, my next project is door seal and whole cabin undercarriage. sweat.gif

the cabin NVH for this car is really crap. really overpriced car.
*
Ya... really is overpriced car. I miss my 2006 Honda City cry.gif

just back from Honda showroom...

im impressed with the Honda City dashboard build quality... even the low spec E+ looks much nicer than our Vios E or J dashboard.

The standard HU have call function, and USB port at the bottom of centre console... bloody premium feel.

Vios is really an overpriced junk.

Hmm.. Maybe both us have different in this case. I'm more into the car overall build instead of these items u mentioned.

Being driving a Focus in the first place, and now Vios... Then have a drive in City... Seriously... Our Vios doesn't worth the given price at all.

This is my personal opinion. smile.gif

My driver side seatbelt noise have yet to settled... And the roof insulation is not here yet... shakehead.gif
*
Yes.... Vios have alot strange sound, n my seatbelt also have sound.... already ask SC checked n settle it then come back again after 3 day... is only last for 3 day.... rclxub.gif

If not because CVT, i already take CITY....
