Understeer and lost front grip upon entering a hairpin corner.
limited purchase budget.
My front lost grip and skidded upon hitting a wooden block.

I was riding 100+ at a 40km speed limit corner.

It's the hairpin corner from Kesas to Seremban Highway route, right after Carrefour Sri Petaling.

Sad to hear that... Bro, just my opinion... Try to think of your family n your precious one... I know the corner u mean, even I driving on the machine with stiffest handling n suspension, I not dare to going in with the speed of 80+... Unless I know how to drift...

Enjoy your new ride bro nod.gif stay safe

walked out in 1 peace. Really glad and impressed with the car strong chassis.
my friend was on 308T with 215/45/17 rubber... PS3.... nicely cut in and out at 100+. I was behind him... He's on fast lane, and i was on left lane.

Suspected hit a wooden block because my front wheel just skidded straight away when i'm about to make my turning.

Right after i flipped, within seconds the towMan is walking towards me from the highway. I was surprised by their "efficiency".

You guys becareful at "black spots" in around town area.

Peace.

yup, that corner is a bit danger...

i have the same experience with you... i was driving a myvi cut of from subang ss15 bulatan kewajipan heading to USJ... that road is straight road u know... i was at the left lane, suddenly saw the floor with some liquid and i thought it was water so i evade it... who knows another car flying from behind go over that liquid... spin and almost whack on my car... i force to ramp up the devider and the car which follow behind me lost control got turtled up (same case as you)... luckily his vehicle did not touch my car... sweat.gif

damage i suffer is front bumper calar.. front two rubbers puncture and rim dent... and yes, towman appear in 10sec... and i inspect the liquid... it is kinda like oil mixing with tar... f**k them vmad.gif

Thanks for your feed back bro, it definitely helps a lot and i will try observ longer term see how it goes.

May i know what is ECU? im kinda noob when comes to car. @_@
as for your issue that you facing, actually im not really aware of the case 1 and 2 that you mention, though u said that it is common for latest toyota.
*
bro, i'm not a vios user and i don't like this car... but i've to share to something with you...

try not to switch your gear to N when you go down from slope... you will not know what is happening next and in case there is something emergency happened, that's seriously a dangerous act.. you want to risk your life by saving few cents petrol?

try let your engine run in first and feedback us about the FC? tongue.gif cheers

Roxy how long have you been driving your Vios? Am going to have my test drive on Friday, any condition that I need to simulate those knocking/annoying sounds that anyone here is facing? I hope that they have a new batch that solves the problem. Is there any new Vios owner here with less apparent noise issue?
*
trust me... with this price tag you have a lot of other choices rather than getting this vios...
my friend bought vios and regret after see the new city and tested the fiesta 1.0 ecoboost laugh.gif

talking about Fiesta... now they have great offer for 2013 units~~

Fiesta 1.5L HB --> RM87k, rebate RM14k
Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost --> RM96k, rebate RM7k~~

but in limited colours...

good deal man, totally regretted my purchase...

i was damn suprised with the new vios built quality...
not to offend anyone of you here but talk about the fact... the myvi 1.5 arguably have a better or equal quality built with this new vios... my friend 3 weeks old new vios, rattling, mounting noise, rooftop sound proof... holy, much more worst than the previous dugong rclxub.gif

and 1 more thing, although same engine and same transmission with lighter weight, seems like the FC worst off compare to dugong, i dont know why hmm.gif

on top of that, yes.. the fiesta ecoboost 1.0 deserved the best car engine invention award in 2012. is really powerful and i believe it is another disaster for the TSI icon_rolleyes.gif

the build quality is indeed very poor, totally agree with you.

in terms of FC... ya... my friend's Dugong is better; averaging 13KM/L.

the only drawback of Fiesta is its dry clutch PowerShift gearbox which is abit glitchy in Malaysian weather... so far not a really major issue like VW's DSG... but i do heard people claiming replacement for it; but not as severe as VW.
*
but 1 thing is the DSG and PowerShift problem also depends on your luck whether u get the lemon unit onot...
i have few friends with VW DSG so far so good after 2 years...

because ppl spending on a continental car and they expect quality par with other luxury continental like Merz etc. When problem happened, they will put it under a magnifying glass whistling.gif

but hey, city will have hybrid model later this year... how about vios? brows.gif

back to vios main competitor city, the CVT is really powerful hence FC is good... those who claimed that the traditional 4AT transmission still can kill this CVT, please go test out the L15A with CVT... whistling.gif toyota, pls do something
